When My family and I first visited this booth at Keller’s farmers market Steaks were on the menu that week..we don’t just buy any kind of meat but grass fed and I’m so excited that it’s from a LOCAL! Sweet family owned and operated butcher shop. The rancher and his family were very knowledgable on the meats they were selling and really showed us what makes their meats better than your average grocery store butcher. I loved finding this place and you will not regret it if you give them a try! We only got to try a couple of cuts of steak but the hamburger, chicken, pork, etc looked amazing! Love supporting local, family run businesses for sure and will be back for some more awesome meat! PS-The homemade lemonade from the girls was a great treat on memorial day too! Just loved it all!

Very friendly staff! Great meat selections that you can tell the difference from an ordinary grocery store. They even help me decide what I might be interested in grilling when I come in. Worth the trip if you want better quality meat with great service!

Juat started buying beef from Zanzibar Cattle Co a few months ago and i can honestly say that they produce a very high quality product. Highly recommend if your looking for natural, quality beef.

What a gem! Keller may not have a great food scene, but this is a welcome treat. They've got a great selection of prime meat and high quality pork and poultry. I even overheard they will be getting lamb soon. Central market's meat counter won't be seeing much of me anymore!

Keller is lucky to have Z Bar! I took my family for the grand opening and let each family member pick something out. We left with beef plate ribs for the smoker, ground steak for burgers, and a wagyu strip steak for my wife. Everything was excellent!! I will be back and highly recommend to try this butcher.

Love it. Farm to table beef. The Ribeyes and New York strips are fantastic. For me doing Keto/Carnivore this place has been a huge help and we shop there weekly. Pro Tip - ask for specials. Sometimes they run fantastic deals.

The first time I bit into a Zanzibar burger I looked at my wife and saiid “Wow, where did we get this?” She said we ran out of our meat order so I bought some from Zanzibar. I was beyond impressed. Very flavorful, well packaged and well priced for good ethically raised quality meat.

This is not what I consider a Butcher shop, more of an outlet for Steak. If you're looking for just Steak, they have all kinds. If you are after higher end Grass Fed Steaks (Wagyu Style) then they should meet your requirements. I was a little disappointed that they don't carry much of anything else. They don't carry Grass Fed liver or beef heart, etc. I was hoping they had Grass Fed Lamb liver. I suppose it's because people these days wouldn't know what to do with it and as a business they have to cater to the local tastes to survive. I do wonder what happens to all that super nutritious liver, heart, and bones? Otherwise, their cuts of Steak look good and the prices are competitive.

Absolutely best steaks around; so juicy and they have so much flavor. There is usually a line every time I go, but that’s to be expected with good meat. I few things I wish they would do is bring other meats such as sausages, jerky, liver, cows tongue, etc. bring the whole animal! :)

I was seriously considering becoming a vegetarian simply because of the awful quality of meat at the chain grocery stores. Then someone told me about this place. I can’t believe that I had been buying meat and poultry anywhere else. Excellent prices and delicious meat. I do wish there was a tiny bit more variety but that’s not a complaint. I’ve learned to adjust my needs.

Z-Bar is phenomenal. They sell out quickly but if you ask about preparation for other cuts, Steve will make suggestions on options. Go in without a plan and see what’s available. I can’t tell you how convenient it is having a local butcher with great knowledge and willing to share. The beef is pretty awesome too - LOL!

This place is great! We decided we wanted good steaks at the last minute for Memorial Day. We were going to Central Market but decided to google and see if there was a good butcher shop locally. We found Z Bar. The owners were very friendly and knowledgeable, and their girls were selling delicious homemade lemonade. We got a couple of wagu sirloins, and tried their sunset steak. They were all delicious! The prices were the same if not less than you’d pay at Central Market and the steaks were better. This is definitely going to be our go to place for steaks. We are also looking forward to trying some of their chicken, pork, and lamb.

So glad I found this place! Finally a great local butcher. So far I've purchased pork belly to make pork belly burnt ends and they turned out wonderful! Like little pieces of bacon heaven. Also we've purchased some rib-eyes that were fantastic. Looking forward to trying out so much more from here.

I've arrived with a handful of good friends and we all got the rib-eyes, we made sure to take extra care on the charcoal grill and get them medium-rare. These are big, thick cuts of meat so make sure to season properly. It was one of the tenderest and satisfying steaks we ever had! Fantastic quality and great service, we are already planning another steak night.

Absolutely great meat. Chicken, liver, top round, and even frozen steaks: Everything I purchased here was top quality and reasonably priced. I especially liked the liver. Great to have this local option. The employees were over the top friendly and helpful.

A must try and a huge win for Keller!! In just the short time that Z Bar has been in Keller, it has become my go to place for meat! The product quality is top notch and everybody in the shop makes sure you get exactly what you want. I recently went for a plate rib to make some smoked beef dino ribs, not only did they have them, but the quality was excellent and they turned out great. Looking forward to all the possibilities with such great options right around the corner.
