I bought Pork Chops there yesterday at the Alameda Store and got them home, placed then in the refrigerator until ready to cook about two hours later. When I took them out and unwrapped them they had an awful smell to them. I do not think that I will buy there again.

My husband and I purchased 4 thin ribeye steaks on memorial day that was very good and tender.. So then my husband purchased a thick ribeye and IT was so tuff he couldn't eat it. He also paid for seasoning which he didn't get.. so I figured I would try getting 5 seasoned thin ribeye steaks today because the thin ones was good the first time (which was also to tough and grisley with alot of fat)and after we had them seasoned my hubby noticed a 20 steak package deal and asked Mike what kind of deal he could give him to purchase all 25 steaks and Mike was very rude and didn't offer anything for getting tough meat and charged for seasoning which wasn't put on the steaks. He wasn't into making his customers happy, was just a money bag! Which is already pricey! You get better steak at Walmart or HEB! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS PLACE!

First & last time trying this place out. Never again!!! Took a deer to get processed they not only messed up my order but have me meat that looked like it was old and less of the amount of what I've gotten before at other places . on to of that the price was ridiculous.

Very disappointed in the ribeyes. Meat wasn't fresh. Steaks were tough. $60 for steaks no one enjoyed except the dog! Lost a customer!

these guys are Idiots... they think a Prime rib is a beef cut also they can't measure I asked for 1 3/4" bone in rib steak and I used a Caliper to measure what they gave me and the Thickness was 1 1/8" there is no such thing as a cut called Prime rib, when you want to make "Prime Rib" you ask for a standing Rib Roast and you choose the end you desire. and 70/30 burger for $4.99 per pound is insane I had to give 1 Star just to write the review, but IMHO I would give them -10 I guess folks in Corpus Christi just don't know any better

This is our local go to meat market. Their meats and cuts are fantastic. They have a huge selection of delicious jalapeno poppers both seeded and without. It's near the house and the hours are convenient. They also have a good amount of groceries as well. There's always a good staff working and never a wait.

Get meat at affordable prices staff was very friendly drove all the way from rockport for good steak. Update the filet minion was great tender however the pan breakfast sausage was tainted smelled of rotten pork had one bite and upset stomach 5 minutes after. The bacon was rancid has horrible smell and taste all fat no meat .I Called and spoke to owner and let him know his initial response was we sell a lot of it with no complaints and then told me they make the breakfast sausage in big batches then freeze it so I can't be spoiled the package reads fresh breakfast pan sausage sell by June 18.18 how is a frozen product labeled as fresh. Had to throw away bacon and sausage is a shame because Staff was very friendly the owner should except when a customer reports spoiled food. My concern was not for money back or to complain but for the safety of other potential customers getting sick.

I purchased their "top of the line" fajitas they carry and they were awesome! The tenderness was out of this world and they were flavorful. I cooked them over a mesquite ember fire for maximum flavor. As far as I know, nobody carries this quality of fajitas.

great selection of meat in stock, will cut to your liking if you wish, stuffed jalepenos in lots of varieties, they even keep the day to day stuff in stock so it is really a one stop shop for your bar b q or cookout event, staff is always polite and never seem to be understaffed whatsoever, been shopping there a few years and the quality of product cant be beat.

This store seems to have everything you need to grill as much as I do. I go there on average three times a week, and I've never had bad service. The meat is always fresh too. I will continue going there to buy all my meat as well, as long as it remains open which I dont see ever being a problem.

We go to this store for variety of meat at a reasonable price. Steak from this place is pretty awesome. I was also surprised that they carry goat and lamb meat when I was searching to cooked some special menu. These are hard to find. The customer service is fantastic and they go above and beyond to help you out. We’ve been here numerous times and we never had any single bad experience. I highly recommend this meat market to anyone!

We have been going here for a while. I bought and will be going back to get more (a lot more) before the close at 8:pm Texas time... everything you can imagine at low prices, including Bacon wrapped jalapenos with cream cheese and chicken. They have great cuts of meat, but they're a little pricey for game processing. I took a whole, quartered deer there to get hamburger and steaks and it was over $200. There was a lot of meat though so idk if that was why, I'm just used to paying about $90 for that at other wild game processors.

Beautiful selection of everything from stuffed chicken with corn bread, stuffed jalapenos, good quality steaks, sasauge (many flavors) and the ground beef is excellent. They sell all different types of soft drinks and many brands of beer. Best staff there too. It's a great place to shop.
