Awesome customer service. Great meat that go along with unbeatable prices I bought the 385$ meat package and love it!
If you know anything about meat, stay far far away from this place. We were treated with horrible customer service and they know nothing about sales. There’s a reason they push meat on people and try anything and everything to make a quick sale even if that means charging you almost nothing. Extremely shady company and very rude sales people. My friend also went in and said he was about to purchase their “big box” because the sales person went down in price over and over and it seemed like a good deal. He stepped out to see if his mom would let him borrow some freezer space because he didn’t have enough space for all the meat. When he came back in to buy, an older gentleman refused to sell it to him because he left (which was only for a few minutes). He told him he should’ve bought it before he left because he wasn’t going to sell it to him anymore. Then he said “I’ll sell you 1 box of 10 filets for $20 so you can try it. I’m about to close so you need to make a decision”. It was only 6:40 and they close at 8pm. We walked out. Extremely rude and they lost a sale that was already sold.
Good Ranchers is a fantastic company! I purchased from them last June and I still have steaks. They gave me a fantastic deal on some amazing steaks and chicken! The salesman was very informative on the different cuts and the quality of the meat and went above and beyond to ensure I was a happy customer even going as far as carrying the meat to my car! I immediately went home and grilled some steaks for my family and we loved them! Everything is vacuum sealed and individually wrapped which made it super convenient for me to thaw out just enough food to cook without wasting. I also love that they partner with the food banks and provide meals for people in need! We are definitely looking forward to seeing them again! Thank you so much Good Ranchers!
Great prices!
Classic bait and switch and very poor quality. You'll be greeted by a fast talking salesman (or salesman trainee?) who'll flip out various boxes showing how you can get $400+ worth of meat for $150, or something like that, only for the first 40 customers (Guess what? You'll always be in that first 40,even at the end of the day, unless they change the scam later in the day). The 20 filets for $29.99 they bait you with are individual 4 oz. packs filled with "pieces parts" (end pieces, oddly-shaped pieces and even two 2 oz pieces stuffed into the packages and made to look like a filet). Almost all are full of gristle - you'll have maybe 20% of them that pass for almost-decent filets, none that pass for great or even really good. The rest is garbage. The boxes containing the vacuum packed meat are excessively large to make it feel like you're really getting something. I think they spend more on packaging than they do on the meat. Complete waste of time and money.
I stood in line to get some steak on Saturday at their Katy location with my 6 month baby... Not only did I get steak, i ended up spending $200 on steak and I am all set, they gave me a great deal! I cooked some yesterday and it was AMAZING, SOOO TENDER AND DELICIOUS!!! I'm so thankfull I found y'all!
Yelp this company see what people think.. why are you mad I just said Yelp you guys. Even on facebook you guys took it down. Sounds like your selling a great product(if you have to hide reviews). Me saying on facebook look at yelp. You guys took it down so I cant post comments. All I said was yelp them. Why do you have to block and hide people saying look at your track record. Sounds like bad business. Dont worry if you still wanna play games I'll post the pics. The answer to your question is its basically all your reviews(which you are deleting on Facebook) not just me any bad thing on Facebook you get rid of it within 20 minutes. Dony make me post pics on what you delete. Who the hell is running this company and why saying yelp them is so bad
We went to Hamilton Place Mall to check out the steak. I wish we had kept on driving. The salesman was great he did his job. The meat doesn't even taste like meat. I hope my dog will eat the meat or so called meat. And we spent 400 dollars I must have been drunk.
Very impressed by these delicious steaks!!
What kinda meat do you sell.It doesn't taste like beef..The fillets are very tough, the Rib eyes are tough too..I see a class action lawsuit coming..On your advertising, you say steaks, but what are these steaks made of?
I bought a pack of 20 filets for $29 at Good Ranchers. I grilled some of them and smothered some of them in a mushroom onion gravy. The steaks are so good and tender. You can cut them with a fork and they melt in your mouth. I will definitely go back to purchase more steaks and I highly recommend that you purchase these high quality steaks! You will be so glad you did!!!
Very disappointed with all the products we purchased!! I must say it's bad when your dog won't even it any of the meats. RIPPED OFF. UPDATE: 4/4/19 I received a full refund from GR, so I was not ripped off!! Thank you GR for keeping your word.
Had some of the chicken and steaks on the grill tonight and they were delicious. Very Happy so far with the purchase . The sales person was very nice and helpful. Can't wait to see you guys again in Lafayette IN.
I stopped on a fluke at the BayBrook Mall location. I wanted to see what they had for $30. I walked away after spending nearly $400! I wound up with the 20 filets of sirloin, mega rib steaks, T-bone steaks filet mignon 5 different kinds of boneless snicker breast and because we don’t eat nuggets he tossed in another 20 filets. I went home with all this meat and had buyers remorse. I couldn’t believe I spent so much money. Lord I prayed the steaks wouldn’t be tough! Well let me tell you they were delicious. The Tbones were like butter they practically melted in your mouth. The lemon chicken was so very tasty and the ground beef we made into meatballs! They were soooo good. I will definitely be purchasing from them again.
I'm hoping they come to Chattanooga again. I made it to the truck before they sold out, and scored a deal on $50 worth of beef. I went halvsies with a random citizen, but still got a decent deal. And the steak I cooked up for dinner tonight was wonderfully juicy and seasoned just right!
Just came to check this deal out in UTAH, the sales guy kept denying the 20 fillets for 29$ to customers.. Saying no no you dont want them . And then trying to up selling me freaking box packs from 400$ down to 300$ down to 200$ then 160$.. WTH.. thought I was at a car dealership or something..
We stopped by the Katy location and bought $200 worth of meat. I was very impressed with the quality and great taste of their beef! You can’t go wrong when purchasing from Good Ranchers! I will definitely buy from them again
NO F'n way! Don't know how anyone can give these guys any decent review. What I was told was a strip steak seamed to be a seasoned cube steak wrapped to look like a strip and injected with solution to give it tenderness. And that prize Porterhouse, I agree with the prior 2 star reviewer that stated you would need a jaw replacement after trying to eat this steak. My wife being a professional chef knows how to cook steak. She was extremely upset at the crappyness of these steaks. I had emailed the company regarding complaint and was asked a week later were I purchased. I immediately replied. Then never heard from them again. Lesson learned. Hopefully they won't show there faces again in our city. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TRY A LOCAL BUTCHER.
The Lucas family LOVES Good Ranchers!! We've placed several orders and have been happy with all of the different cuts of meat. My son is 3.5 and I'm the mom that has an irrational fear of him choking. Good Ranchers' steaks are so tender that I can cut his with a fork and he easily chews it without any complications. Peace of mind is priceless! It's also comforting to know that he is eating nutritious protein without all of the added hormones and chemicals.
BEWARE of the “20 filets for $29” deal sold in the parking lot of malls!!! It’s HARD meat NOT filet mignon, at best chunks of sirloin
After reading all the bad reviews I almost went and returned what I bought before trying it. Glad I kept them. Burgers and sirloins have been great. Not the best steaks I ever had, but they were the best steaks for the price.
I finally made out to the Katy location at Fry Rd and I-10. I bought the filets and some ribeyes. The beer is so tasty. Really good prices for the quality and quantity. Way better than grocery store products. I’ll be back.
I was very impressed by these steaks. They are about palm size and 3- 4" thick. I put them on the George Foreman and they came out super tender. I was impressed bc I over cooked them a bit and thought they would be tough, but nope, they came out great. Think we'll be having steak n eggs pretty soon.
My husband and I have been trying to get here for the past couple of Sundays but they were closed. Finally got to them today only to find out that they were closing but will be back in a year. But as God would have it we were blessed by the owner tremendously and will be back next year!!!
Glad these guys came to Colorado a great deal on the meat packages, even if you get just get the 20 for $29 it’s amazing cut of meat. But the large packages are a deal for what you get. so much meat and the chicken is incredible. We’ve enjoyed it so much we made 3 trips while they were here. Highly recommend
Heard about this company on the radio and all over Facebook and so I went to check it out and it was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up. Not only did we buy the steaks they also had a package that included chicken and so we took advantage of that and so glad that we did it was SO GOOD!!!! SO JUICY!!!! definitely reccomend them if you want some good quality steak or chicken check this place out you will be so glad you did. :)
I bought 2 boxes of the "filets" based on the reviews and they were terrible. I am not sure they are even beef. We were hoping it was just one box but both were bad. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
They don't look like fillets. I would post a picture if I could.
Love y’all meat we really enjoyed our steaks I’m really impressed with the quality of meat can’t wait to get some more keep up the good work
Good Rancher’s meat is top notch, the filets are very tender and the ribeyes are thick and juicy. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, their products are high quality and one of my favorite things about the company is that they serve and give to their community at the Houston food bank. I’ll always support a business who gives back and has good values.
Great company, the represenitive at the location was friendly and personable. There was a small wait in line but they were working fast. I got a great deal on the steaks and got some chicken as well that was unexpected. The food taste great and was a huge money saver to me.
The guy at the counter at Pearland Town Square was very rude so therefore left there without buying any steaks. Not worth going with all that traffic in Pearland.
This company offers good pricing however the quality is very questionable. I thawed out some steaks and they turned from bright red to grey as they thawed. The flavor of the beef is odd. The chicken is the same. It looks good at first but texture, color, and quality are questionable. I spent over 450.00 on a mix of products and was left extremely disappointed. The company does refunds but has very strict rules on how to get refund snd how much time you have to request a refund. My suggestion to you is that if you see their tents and banners.... walk the other way or you will be greatly disappointed!!!
I bought some meat from one of their pop up tents. Went for the 20 for $29. The guy talked so fast I left with their big package $393 for $150 “because we were military ( we are but he didn’t check) and I was his last customer. Thawed out the stakes and they went from red to gray. All of the juice drained from them when I thawed them. And the packages had holes so the blood leaked out. Stakes are tough as hell and terrible quality. Ugh what a waste of meat and money.
Actual “filet”. Garbage..... I originally complained on their Facebook page and was ignored and blocked.
Absolutely amazing steak, super great customer service as well. Will definitely be buying from in the future.
Got the fillets for 29$ and was surprisingly satisfied. I actually bought 2 packs. These steaks are exactly as advertised so if your expecting a massive 20oz fillet then you will be disappointed but if you expect what's advertised you should be happy.
These guys are very helpful! They seem to want to help you fill your freezer at a price point that is impossible to beat! And the individual vacuum-sealed packaging is just so convenient!
Katy location would NOT sell the 20 for$29 package to us. We were told we had to see the other packages and walked away. Isn’t that illegal? Stay away from this place !!!!
I was excited about buying meat here after reading good reviews, But the salesman at the Katy location was very rude to me and my son. We left and took are business elsewhere.
I went to the Springhill Mall location yesterday and bought a steak bundle. I went home and made some for dinner last night, THEY WERE AMAZING!!! They were thick, juicy and extremely tasty. I will definitely be watching your website for when you come back to Chicagoland, thanks again!!
Not a butcher shop. It’s a buy in bulk store.
Don’t waist you time I went three times and they are always close. They don’t have a number to contact them and on to of that today they were inside and didn’t want to open at list to explain why they are close if they get sold out so often they don’t know how to manage their inventory.
Great place !! Went in for the sale and couldn’t resist the great cuts they pulled out to show me when I asked about the menu. Great guy at the counter. Can’t remember his name but I’ll definitely get it when I go back in a couple days. Still can’t believe there’s such great cuts of meat and it’s so close to my house. Thanks again !!
I should have known betterr as soon as I saw the boxes at the norman location. Same as the little trucks that go door to door.. Priime fillets so tough cannnot get a fork in them
Deuteronomy 32:35 (NKJV) 35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in due time; For the day of their calamity is at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.’ Matt.5 Verses 43 to 47 [43] Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; [45] That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. [46] For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? [47] And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
You would think with a deal like this somthing has to be off about it, right? I couldn't have been more wrong, the steaks are still choice cut, and the marbling on these fillets gave it such a tender and juicy flavor, you can bet ill be back for more!
The cuts of meat are perfect portions and I love that they are individually wrapped. This was a great deal and the hamburgers were delicious. I am going to buy another box of steaks. ...only complaint was that I never got the coupon they ask you to sign up for and I did it twice.
Horrible quality meat not worth it even at the cheap price
This is probably the best meat we have ever had... great variety, excellent quality and great value... Their customer service is amazing as they are very knowledgeable of their product and their field... We are very pleased w Good Ranchers and we recommend you to try their amazing meats and other products they have... Again their quality is OUTSTANDING... We have spent $280 and it was worth it...
I stopped by their Baybrook Mall location to get some steaks for a company bbq, and so glad I did. They hooked me up with filets, ribeyes, tbones, and even threw in some boneless chicken breasts. Very good meat and didn’t have to break the bank.
Really great company...very nice people and the meat is excellent. My wife and I were lucky enough to win free Bears tickets with them.
Great product. Awesome staff.
UPDATE I’m not a stranger to cooking and being T1 diabetic I’m aware the way I digest my food and to say the least I’m very DISAPPOINTED in the quality of the meats. Big supermarkets have better meat than this! To save yourself from needing a jaw surgery or your intestines removed , I would HIGHLY suggest finding a local butcher and spending a few extra dollars for a superior quality. HORRIBLE! Anyone that knows about meats or has experienced what a real farm meat is, this is definitely not it. Don’t fall for the trap of “SALES” and “DEALS”.
Absolutely disgusting. Saline solution meat with fake spelling of FILLETS on the prime beef they sell. BUYER BEWARE
love it, awesome quality, the price is the best in town, they will be my choice to buy steaks from now on, thank you good ranchers.
I like how they not only deleted my comment on Facebook, but also blocked me from commenting as well.. Amazing customer service right?! I gave it a try and it was a total rip off. They claim 2.5 lbs of fillet steak @ $29. Before i defrosted it, i weighed it & it was 1 lbs and 11 oz. All of the meat has been super low quality and I'm pretty sure they use meat glue for their fillets. Check the picture. Grains are all over the place. You can see it in the one I cut and in the uncut one. The amount of gristle in the ground beef is actually impressive. I dont remember the last time I got gristle in my ground beef. It really made me appreciate the grocery store ground beef. Not sure why I was finding bright pink specks in it either... food coloring? Atleast the weight was correct there. If you dont believe me and still decide to give them a try, know you can talk them down on their price. Their $389 box was offered to me for $190. I picked it up for $150, and I've heard of people getting it cheaper. But your paying for nice packaging and meat glue...
Super impressed with the quality of meat. I like how everything comes individually packaged, it makes dinner super easy especially for my picky eaters at home. Will definitely be back next time they come to town.
20 for $29 is a lure to get you there, then they try to sell you a family pack for much more money. The 20 pieces for $29 are about as big as a White Castle hamburger.
I stopped by their Pearland location today and was greeted with absurdly rude customer service that was unacceptable. They serve one customer at a time. Fine. We left to wait outside, to be followed out by him to say, “let me help you out the door” [further], since people are “dying to get in here.” This, understandably, rubbed my mother and I the wrong way. No one is desperate for steak that’s available at every grocery store. I’m unsure as to what his issue was, but that attitude doesn’t belong in Texas, surely not Pearland.
Love the taste of the meat
I bought $300.00 worth of different cuts of beef a while back. I have not found one that was not superb! I have had several cook outs and all my guests raved on the quality. I will buy from them again!!
All I can say is Thank You GRanchers. To all of the Haters if your expecting Kobe Beef or Cowboy Cut Steaks that’s not what their Screaming. Olive Garden 6oz filet $18.99 or 20 filets $29 hmm. Because of the young gentleman and his pleasant and knowledgeable personality the wife and I purchased 40 plus steaks for $189. And if the meat is tough you probably don’t have a clue how to cook a proper steak. And if you think the local grocery is better LOL try again. No one was pushy No Gimmicks Just a company trying get their name out their. Definitely better than Aldi’s we’re the working man shops. Bet even Donald Trump bought a few.
You're probably here bc you saw an ad saying that they are having a great deal on steaks at your local mall. Let me tell you the deal. There's a tent where they "pitch" customers one at a time. You walk in, and a smooth-talking guy shows you the 20 steak deal for $29. They come in boxes kinda like Omaha Steaks, and look very professional. You have to wonder about the sales tactics, though. While you're taking that in, he shows you another bunch of boxes with more vacuum-packed steaks of all cuts, and tell you that you can get $400 worth of steaks and chicken for like $300. It's all a very smooth pitch, and you stand there and take in all in, wondering if this is a good idea. When you object to buying more steaks, they lower the price until they find your sweet spot, walk out, or just buy the original steak deal that you came for, which I did. So now, let's review that. I got 20 "fillets" for $29. Initially you think that means that you got 20 "FILET mignons," but that doesn't seem to be the case here. The meat in this deal isn't very obviously that cut, and is mediocre, at best. The box says that they are FILLETS. not FILETS, not FILET MIGNONS. The spelling with one "L" is indicative of the superior cut, and what is on the box just means "slice," which this probably is just sliced sirloin. Nice play on words, imo. At the end of the day, you get ~5 lbs of just okay meat for ~$30, which is like $6/lb. Not a great deal, since it isn't super high quality, but you can probably get comparable meat at the grocery for the same price or cheaper, so really, there's nothing to see here. I'll chalk the ~$30 as a learning experience, and will probably advise that with the money that you would spend on any GR product, the same can be had anywhere else, making this offering unremarkable and not worth your time. I also just noticed that they do not allow reviews on FB. Just a thought.
Tough and tasteless at a medium rare, not worth the money.
Good Ranchers cares about QUALITY more than any other Steak or Butcher Company in the USA! The Good Ranchers Rancher Pack has a variety of steaks and burgers that are easy to thaw and always fresh. They are light years ahead of the competition in terms of vacuum sealed and flash frozen technologies that allow for meats that you can cook quickly and easily with flavor locked in and MOST importantly the Steaks do not taste like frozen food. This very important conceptual fact means that you can take advantage of the tremendous savings advantages that only buying in bulk can offer. The Steaks and Burgers that Good Ranchers sell will stay fresh in your freezer for years and you will always have a variety of delicious USDA Steaks to choose from. Of course the Ribeyes are delicious but the Steak Burgers are also amazing. Big, juicy 8 Oz Patties (1/2 lbs) each make for awesome burgers. The Filets in the Rancher Pack are second to none - USDA Prime! Because all of the steaks and burgers are individually vacuum sealed you can easily mix and match for supper. Good Ranchers is the real deal and they care about quality and service even after the sale. When you hear that Good Ranchers are in your neighborhood, either on the radio or on Facebook, get there early and rack up on BEEF! I only wish I could give more Than FIVE STARS for this fast growing Meat Company!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by Good Ranchers! I always get a bit weary of pop-up shops but we got a great deal on a variety pack and have enjoyed every cut of meat so far. It was an added bonus to hear that they give a portion of their proceeds to the local food bank - I love that! They seem like a great family-run business so I was happy to support.
I would consider myself to be a “beef girl” and I can tell you that the Good Rancher’s Steaks are delicous and convenient. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the items in the rancher pack however my favorite was the “PEPPERCORN STRIP FILETS” lightly seasoned filet strips that were tender and scrumptious. My favorite way to cook these is on the George Foreman grill (believe it or not) - I like my steaks rare so in two minutes they’re done and ready to eat. The individually wrapped steaks are super convenient and supper has never been this easy! The Burgers were delicous too and I even cooked the “Butchers Reserve Ribeyes” on the George Forman grill and we had fully cooked steaks in just a few minutes. supper has never been ready so quickly. I recommend Good Ranchers Steaks over all other beef companies that I have tried. Five Stars from this beef luvin country gal!!!
Saw their store at the mall the other day and stopped in to get some steaks for dinner. Ended up purchasing the New York strips and filets. Very happy with the quality so far!
High quality product, high quality people.
Last night in Norman we stood in line for an hour with only 2 couples in front of us. We purchased 2 of the $29 filet specials and we cooked 2 of them last night. They were horrible. We cooked then perfect they were tuff and grissly and taste wierd. I will be reaching out tomorrow for a refund. Waste of time and $$.. thank God we had Ribeyes last night from Walmart those were awesome! I was really excited about this because I thought it was a good deal. I was wrong I would not want them for free except to feed my dog maybe.
Cannot say enough great things about Good Ranchers. Amazing owners and staff, incredible quality and service, and a real dedication to the community in their fundraising efforts with local food banks. They offer a wide product range of quality meats and provide expert guidance on what to buy. There is truly something for everyone here. This is a company I will be continuing to support!
I bought their special that was offered from the Baybrook Mall tent. I was worried I made a mistake, like it was too good to be true. I spent $290 and got SO much meat!! Not only was it good quantity but the quality is outstanding. Everything is individually packaged, so whether it’s just me and my man or a family cookout, I can take out just as much as I need. The chicken breasts have all been moist and delicious, no matter how I’ve cooked them. Grill, stove top, baking, they always turn out great!! I was not disappointed and would buy again. The salesman was quick to show me everything and explain what my money would get me, he hurried through explaining, but only because he had a line forming! Good service, good product Heck of a deal!
Great product at a great price! Good Ranchers has great steaks! And the customer service can't be beat either. Just waiting till they come back my way so that I can stock my freezer again.
Visited location on Fry Road and Katy Freeway. Meat looks to be of good quality and good prices but haven't tried it yet. There is a very high pressure sales approach akin to a time share presentation. When we concluded that we only wanted to buy the "special", the sales rep slammed the boxes on the counter and turned ice cold. He also didn't give us a dollar change due and went on to the next "prospect". Meat should not be sold like a time share!
Outstanding service at the location in Georgetown, TX at the Wolf Ranch Town Center.
I bought the “fillet” the guy who sold them to me assured me it wasn’t the fillet mignon. Anyways i assumed it was still a good cut of meat, after grill them. I will never buy processed and already frozen steak, it is simply not like the real thing. If you want frozen food to save for a future day then I might take advantage of this deal. If you like freshly grilled meat and then I would stay far away from this deal. Simply not worth it. They pull you In with the excellent deal via marketing and you get to their pop-up shop and there’s one guy peddling a350$ box of frozen meats... however I am very skeptical of frozen meat. It’s all frozen
Was a little apprehensive purchasing from a parking lot of a mall, but wanted to take a look since I heard their ads on the Radio. I must say to my surprise that the experience was great. The Salesmen where very knowledgeable on all the different cuts of steaks, and even helped me carry out the steaks to my car. AS for the steaks, I ve been very impressed with the quality. MY wife loves the Filets and the T-bones were amazing. I was the biggest fan of their Kansas City Strips, mainly because they are pre seasoned with a pepper rub, the meat was tender and had great marbling. Would purchase again and again. You can't go wrong for the price. It was pretty cool to see a company that gives back too. Both my wife and I have volunteered several times at the Houston Food Bank and it was neat to see that Good Ranchers was giving part of their sales to the Food Bank. They also accept food donations there too.
Very happy with our purchase. We stopped by one of their Houston pop ups and got a great deal on a huge selection of steaks & chicken. Our freezers are now stocked for a while!! Love that they give back to the Houston Food Bank too. Thanks Good Ranchers
