I have purchased specialty cuts of meat in addition to having eaten at their restaurant and I can say that both are fantastic. The restaurant is an undiscovered gym which I plan on visiting frequently. The wine list is also very well curated so pairing choices are abundant.

I’ve eaten here for dinner twice and had a great experience both times. The wait staff was wonderful both times and the food was excellent! In addition to the meat being really good, the sides are some of my favorites.

My review is the for market, not the restaurant which i have not been to. I bought one $50 akaushi steak and it was terrible, very lean and no flavor. This will cause me to never go back. But we also bought jalapeno chicken salad and a few other prepared foods which were definitely tasty. The prepared food is better than what you get from whole foods or other high end grocery stores.

Cannot day enough great things about Cooper’s. Great down to earth people and great selection. Have you always wanted a good butcher shop that had great quality and knew about meat? Look no further. Phenomenal cuts with great flavor, and it’s actually cheaper than Central Market or Whole Foods. Also, they grill out on the weekend and have great burgers and hot dogs.

Prices are absolutely fair for the quality of ingredients and execution you are receiving. We love the bodega market, as well. Please try them out - you’ll be happy you did!

They said they close at 9. But when we said we had a party excited about eating there they opened their doors to us. It was 9:30. Best porterhouse I ever had. And they had to cook it for close to an hour for perfection. Then, invited our friends in about 10 pm. Everyone impressed. Thank you!!

Stopped in after the farmers market for lunch and to check out the meat market and we were not even greeted. The menu at the door was the dinner menu. No one offered to seat us or say welcome. Just can we help you??? They said it would be 30 mins for a burger. We didnt feel welcome at all. We just asked for a coke to go and got some sausage from the meat market. The woman was so slow and the only person that was friendly was the butcher. They also asked us if we wanted a mexican coke or regular. Maybe it was nothing but since I'm white and my husband is mexican and the way we were treated was terrible. I felt honestly not welcome and treated badly. I hope the sausage is good. I wanted to like this place what a shame.

I love everything about this place. Their meat is amazing and if you like pork, they will brine pork chops for you if you give them a few days advance notice. I’ve eaten at the restaurant several times and their food is fine steak house quality at a much better price. The service is always great. They have an extensive wine list and a sommelier. I am so glad they have opened in North Oak Cliff. We are very lucky to have them!

Came here to pick up a few steaks during a short weekend visit to Dallas. The market/restaurant was very clean, bright and inviting and I was very impressed with the service (very knowledgeable and friendly staff). It's a little pricey, but the beef was very fresh and they had plenty of different cuts to choose from as well as fish options. The prime rib I ordered was good, but not my favorite (too chewy), but my friend got the NY Strip which was excellent. You can choose to take raw cuts to go or they can cook it for you. Take advantage of the early opening and visit this place before it gets popular/more crowded.

I would give it a 0 if I could. I have been here twice and both experiences were terrible. The first time I came I asked for pork loin and pork chops. When I get checked out the prices were higher than expected. I asked and the woman said, oh yeah the butcher is out of pork loin and gave you tenderloin instead. So without my permission and without telling me they were already going to let me just pay more and leave with the wrong product. It was my first time making a recipe with pork loin so I didnt know the difference, and when I got home I found out they were completely different cuts and can not be cooked the same. The butcher should have known and should have come out to talk to me and ask if I still wanted it but no one cared. So I paid more money for something I couldn't even use. I tried to give them one more try and went back for ribeye steaks recently. I saw the same man cutting the meat and I was concerned but i didnt think they could mess up my steak. I was wrong. I get home to put the steaks on the grill and one of them had a huge cut in the side that went all the way to the middle. If you're trying to cook a steak medium rare and even, you obviously don't want a huge cut down the middle. Again, their prices are not cheap and in fact more expensive than other good places so I find it unacceptable when I prefer to go to walmart than ever step foot in there again. The butcher there has no idea what he is doing and apparently neither does anyone else or they would have corrected the mistakes he makes.
