I experienced extremely poor customer service today from the head of the establishment on down to the employees. While ordering inside the ladies would not attend to customers. They kept having unrelated to Bud’s sidebar conversations instead of focusing on the customer right in front of them trying to place an order and then when a mistake is make they band together and blame the customer for their mistakes and refused to fix or refund the order. I will strongly encourage family and friends to avoid this place at all costs.

I BEEN LOOKING FOR OLD TIME MEAT MARKET....THE REVIEWS DREW ME...WE LIVE 90 Minutes away.... Coming here 2 months ago reminded me of my childhood meat market 40yrs ago. Although they were busy, we were greeted with smiles, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. We felt right at home although this was our first visit to Bud's Meat. They have the old time liver loaf, hog head cheese, summer sausage, and salt bacon just to name a few. Other meats were reasonably priced & fresh cut. To our surprise while we were checking out the gentleman who serviced us at the meat section appeared and started placing our purchases on the countertop. He assisted our cashier Wanda to complete our transaction. Then he carried bags to our vehicle. We were both looking in awe because it's hard to find that kind of service...Full Service!!! Of course my husband tipped him, as he always do others.

Good old schoold BBQ with big portions. try their 1/2 cheeseburger. it will fill you up until dinner. Also the beed brisket and pork ribs are really good. Friendly staff. There is no eating area. only area to eat inside is the employee break room.

Bud's house of meats is the best meat market I've been to thus far. The staff was well presentable and their uniforms were clean (which was a plus for me). They used gloves and switched them prior to touching different meat. Their machines and the overall building was clean. I will definitely be going back soon.

I buy the green onions sausage here. Lots of meat specials here at a good price. There are a many Cajun style sausages here. Have Alligator sausage and Boudanne. There is a great BBQ restaurant with meats from the front. And bake potato that is bigger then I have ever seen.

My visit here was amazing! I called in my order for a case of whole fresh chicken cut in half. They were kind and courteous over the phone. When I arrived my order was waiting for me. They bagged it, put it back in the lined box and one of the butchers put it in my car. He also brought another bag so my car didn't get messed up. Plus He gave me extra bags! This was great experience I will be back!

My family and I have lived in the community are shopped for years here. When I asked the owners((Mr and Mrs Wayne Hebert) consider supporting my gift service, their attitude and response was appalling. They said the only way their employees can afford my services and products is if they (owners) them for their employees ...they are too expensive. I never told them their meat was too expensive! Or driving from Pearland to their location was too expensive . We need to boycott them until they learn the value of supporting black-owned businesses. They treat their employees like they are on a slave plantation. This is 2018...wake up people and VOTE! !!

I just went to Buds earlier today and let me say they are by far the best meat market in Houston. The staff was so friendly and the man who assist me was so helpful and nice. He even walked my meat up to the register and put all the meat in my car. I stay all the way by Katy and I will be back very soon! Plus the are clean and meat is fresh!!

I always come here a lot but today I wanted to call in my order and I'm not sure who took my order but they were very rude! Once I got to Buds I simply said I don't know who took my order but they were rude. The manager was already yelling at the staff when we walked in talking to them very rude like they were nobodies. After I made the comment about whoever took my order she turns to me and states that's because we have a lot of people in here. I said okay that still doesn't mean u can talk to people crazy. From there she decides to tell me well go somewhere else. I sure will but not before I give her a few words of my own. Do Better!

This place is awesome! Hot plates are available here with some great BBQ chicken, sausage, brisket, baked potatoes, potato salad, green beans, hamburgers, cheesy ranch potatoes, homemade mini cakes, pie and more. Buds is a contributor to many organizations in the community as well unlike nearby meat market competitor (J**s). Family size packages are also available which would also be great for small restaurants. This is your Best buy in the neighborhood by my opinion.

A phenomenal place to get almost any kind of meat, but I have to give it four stars because they do not carry filet or strip steaks, which was my whole purpose in going there. That being said, they have the best bacon and great rib-eye steaks, so I will definitely be back. The attached restaurant had a great chicken baked potato as well, but I only got it because they were out of pretty much every other meat. But I guess that's because it was almost closing time.

I was there 2 weeks ago for the first time and I was a little unsure how to order when I was in there. I must of looked a little confused, but not for long! There was a very nice gentleman standing in the middle of the floor as if he were directing traffic, but in a very cordial manner and during his directing and fielding questions he noticed my confusion and called on a man behind the counter and told him to take care of me and he did a fantastic job! I am so glad I found Bud's, it manages to give you a hometown butcher feel in this crazy chaotic city!

Went to Buds today got the awesome beef pan sausage amongst other things. But I just want to say the the staff there is very helpful and accommodating. Mrs Bernadette was the person who assisted me.. She asked me if i needed freezer bags instead of just assuming i wanted regular. She then asked me how far i would be traveling i told her and hour. Mrs Bernadette not only met me at the register with my purchases but she walked me out to my car and carefully placed a box lined it with a couple of plastic bags put ice in it then put all my meats in. She is the best. Good service like that will keep me coming back. I am officially a dedicated customer.

The Rib eyes and T-bones are great, as well as everything else. The staff goes beyond the customers' expectation. It reminds me of the old-fashioned customer service that my grandparents enjoyed, up to and including carrying your groceries to the car. P.S. And, the BBQ and side dishes are delicious. I will no longer buy meats anywhere else. I only wish I'd known about Bud's when I moved to Houston in 2000.
