Don't Know

After moving back to fannin county I found out the place had changed and I was skeptical. I just wish I'd taken the chance on them earlier. I've never had a problem with any order from those guys. The place is clean and the meatis spectacular so for that reason I don't mind if it's a slight higher (as the reviewer stated prior to me). Heck,it's a meat processing plant not your local Wally world, suck it up if it's a tad bit higher, the piece of mind of cleanliness should out weigh, jus sayin'!

I had call to get a price on getting two hind quarters and one front shoulder processed and the price were out of this world. $150 or so dollars. I called and got some prices at some other places in my area and they where half the price or better. Cannot believe they are charging so much

I went here, coming all the way from flower mound tx to buy bones and raw food for my dogs and I received excellent service from the very nice lady behind the counter (I'm so sorry but her name escapes me , I'm terrible with names ). She even told me that they could do custom cuts of bones for my dogs, all I have to do is call a couple of days out. Super nice service and they definitely now have a loyal customer!!!

Bad Experience. I bought a scale just so I could use this processor (since the don't have one) because I know others who use Bluebonnet's and they were happy with them. But, after using them I have a good idea why they don't have a live scale - they do A LOT of skimming off the top. I have been using abattoir services for about five years now and this one had the smallest return; 50%, most places can do at least 60% or, sometimes even better. Not only did they skim a lot but they mislabeled my meat which caused me to have to make two additional trips; at 1 hr round trip, this added to my cost on a service that was already the costliest around. When service is of quality to merit a higher price, I am happy to pay the additional fee but, that was not the case with this company. Not only does this company charge a higher price to the customer but then, they double dip as they re-sell a lot of the customer's product to others. It is an unspoken rule that processors will take some off the top for themselves but this place takes that rule to the extreme. I can see how someone who is not paying attention, doing the math, or dealing with other companies to make a comparison could overlook the cons but, look deeper - there are many cons - I will not return nor would I recommend this company to others. Just because someone says "have a blessed day" does not mean they are trustworthy.

We received our cuts per the order for two lambs. However, the company mislabeled 2lb of ground lamb when it actually weighed 1lb. The company did not give us the rack of lamb, riblets or shanks (standard cuts) and informed me that I did not request this. I don't believe that I have to request a standard cut, a cut provided by any other butcher/farm. The company only offered an apology after I brought up the issues. This is insincere and just goes to show how much businesses DO NOT care about their customers. No problem, I will find somewhere else to harvest our lambs.

we took 2 deers up there under 2 different names they turn around and put only one person name ask for horns they told my they would but no could find them we had 2 big calfs kill there one ok the other we did not get all our meat we went there with old owner we all got our right meat I have heard other people complain they did not get there right meat r not all of it I would advise go somewhere else I take 75 miles out to get it done right an better price I heard the same thing about taking meat off the top they have a market in McKinney

I have used blue bonnet for close to a decade for not only wild game but also my family uses it for cattle processing as well. I have never been as dissatisfied as I am this year last year was also a problem with wild game. We work really hard and spend a lot of money to hunt deer and to spend money to have it professionally packaged and it be this crapy is really sad especially if you stored in the freezer which obviously everyone does going to enclose a picture of my steaks which are they most important part of my dear keep in mind they have not been opened yet this is the way they came out of the freezer that means they were never properly sealed which can cause your meat to be freezer burnt.

Best meat you will ever eat! Also anything else they make is fantastic! Right now I'm eating their jalapeno beef stick along with some smoked cheddar from them. I will be a customer for life. Picture = wagyu bacon and smoked cheddar salad. Delicious!

They have had my cow for two full weeks. Still no packaged meat. It seems as though it is Deer Season and that processing deer meet cannot be delayed. Bluebonnet will make it right!
