My dad and I went here to get some ribeyes for mother’s day and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. They have a wide variety of different types of meat, fish, etc which all look amazing. This place makes you feel like your in a small town where everyone knows everybody. We will definitely be returning very soon!!!

Roy's is a fantastic local gem. We stopped in for their daily home-cooked lunch menu- Fridays are fried catfish, and we had a fried catfish sandwich- WOW!! It was perfection. Perfectly crispy, and so delicious that I forgot to even take a picture. The portion size was so generous & filling that I didn't need any sides, but... the mac-n-cheese looked like a throw back to my grandma's- so, I'm sure we'll be back to try it.

I'd give it 4 stars hands down if it had more consistent hours with their food. They told me today they don't sell hot food on Sundays or Mondays, which just seems odd to me. Chicken was great, and prices are fair.

This is a awesome little Gem in the neighborhood. I’m new to this part of East Nashville (use to live in Inglewood) and this place is walking distance from my house. They have a awesome meat selection and the people who work there are really nice. They had a awesome Craft Beer selection as well! Tonight I got a craft beer that’s made in Napa Valley, CA! I will be back to support this awesome local business. #Buylocal

The folks at this market are the Friendliest you will ever meet! Fresh meat, great selection, if Jeff don't have what you want he will get it for you. The people that have said these people are racist?? Wow..just wow. I'd love you to elaborate on that. The Roy's would give you the shirt of their back if you needed it. Shame on you. And the lady that said her steak was brown? They would have Gladly refunded or gave you another one. #roysrock

Man I went into Roy's Meats for the first time today. When Roy greeted me I felt like we had grown up together. What a stand up guy. He then proceed to slice up some of the best looking filets I have ever seen. If the rain lets up they will find their way to my grill. So Roy, don't ever change your personality. Because if you were to become one of these too cool for school, opinionated personalities, we would have to ask you to go work at somewhere like, oh a local drum stand, vape shop or local east side burger joint. Rock on Roy.

went for local meat, but when opened at home the steaks were visibly brown and old. tried cooking but spit out first bite - definitely not safe to eat. won't be back.

Awesome place to go to! It's not expensive at all for meat that does not have chemicals in it! They also have the best creamiest cheese, must try!! Meat is really good too! Highly recommend!
