Very disappointed. I came in for flank steak and they didn't have any. Don told me that tri tip would work and he said he guaranteed it. He said if it didn't work, to come back and talk to him and he'd make it right. It didn't work. I came back and told him and he just shrugged and said it should have worked. Wasted $20 on meat he guaranteed, but didn't follow through with.

A great little butcher shop run by incredibly insightful and nice people. The ribeye steaks my boyfriend and I picked up were too quality. Be sure to check out the selection of local barbecue sauces, too.

Come for the Bacon, Bacon Burgers or perfectly trimmed filet. Then check out all the other items such as the beef/cheese snack sticks and sausages. You will find that if Don's has it, it is the best of what it is around. My only suggestion is go often or buy a deep freeze as you will never be satisfied again when you are forced to make a quick run to the grocery for inadequate proteins.

We have used Don's Meats now for about 9 years. I refuse to buy any meat from our local grocery stores. The filets are out of this world, you can't find that quality of steak in any restaurant in Chattanooga. We regularly buy beef, pork and chicken from Don's. If you are using meats from Publix or Bi-Lo you are not getting your moneys worth.

Get your venison processed here. His deer jerky and venison boudin is out of this world. I highly recommend it even if you are not a fan of wild game. It is fantastic!

The bacon burgers were great. Cooked with fresh mushroom gravy. Yum. And the apple sausage is still the best I have ever had. Don's is great and they have no problem answering any questions & I had quite a few. The best place to go for any meat needs.

I always stop and get a great steak for myself(beef tenderloin) you can cut it with your fork. I also tried the new bacon sausage. Try it!!!! I browned it in a pan, and finished it in the oven. I think it could be used in many sausage recipies. Great family meat market, and always fresh meat.

Some people said it's a given that i would do that and some would argue that Walmart has good meat, which they do just it doesn't compare to don's at all. Thank you for being our local butcher Don!

We bought country ribs for a Mother's Day cookout at Cloudland Canyon. Each family brought their own meat to grill along with side items. Our ribs looked, smelled and tasted delicious. Everyone's mouth was watering as we grilled them, even those who had brought steaks to grill. We've never gone wrong with Don's!!
