Great meat place, go all the time. Buffalo summer sausage with cheddar cheese and jalapenos in it is the best.

Meat is super good. However, hiring manager is not up to par on her managing skills. Was scheduled an interview at a certain time, sat and waited around for 10 minutes for her to come out and say, "oh, I didn't have time to update the website, but the position was filled this morning." So, I had to miss work to drive all the way there and be told that. Must have been real desperate to not follow through on all scheduled interviews before offering the position to somebody. Also, a phone call would have sufficed to be informed about not having my scheduled interview.

Yes, prices at Cutting Edge Meat Market are higher than at grocery stores - but the products are worth saving for! The staff is knowledgeable about various cuts, and will provide tips for seasoning and cooking if you ask. The butcher is obviously creative; they always offer a variety of house-made sausages with various meats and spice combinations. Unlike most commercial brands, the sausages are not saturated with salt and preservatives. To top off the experience, there's always a hot plate skillet with samples of their products. (They will even let you sample the local cheeses if you ask...) Overall, these people know what they're doing and are passionate about doing it right.

New to the shop. Lots of nicely marbled beef, pork, and chicken cuts. Also has a lot of flavors of gourmet brats that I can't wait to try. Real nice and friendly staff who assisted me w/any cuts and or questions I had. Pricey, but if the meats are anything like I've had w/home raised beef, it'll be well worth it. I haven't tried/cooked the meats yet, but they look good and ready for a hot grill even in the winter.

Not much to say except AMAZING!!! The quality of meat is second to none. The quality of the butchering us second to none. I drive 175 miles one way to buy dog bones here. The owner gets in rib bones and cut up hip bones when my home town butcher has never been able to. Where this shop falls short is in the fish department. Nothing special, in particular the smoked fish definitely nothing special. That aside this is still an amazing butchershop. FYI bring cash, save your self a card fee.

We were in Black Hills for the week of 4th of July, found this place online. Bought 20 lb brisket, some buffalo dogs and hands down the greatest beef jerky I've ever had. The 2yr old, 5, 6,and 9 year old in our group could not eat enough of the brisket. Compared to Phoenix Arizona prices it was cheap!

Cutting Edge Meat Market is a great little place to get select Prime cuts of meat. They try to buy mostly local product. The staff is very knowledgeable about different cuts of meat. If they do not have what you are looking for on the day that you're looking for it they will inform you when the next time they will have it in. They also have little Specialties like seasonings. I like going and using them for special occasions.

Staff was very knowledgeable & helped to select the perfect cuts! Large variety of meats and extensive selection of cuts. Any person can find something delicious for any occasion. A bit pricy, however this is a go to place for the best meat in Rapid!

My bf and I bought ribeyes, beefsticks and cheese. Best steaks ever!! The steak melted in our mouths like butter. We will be coming back. The staff is friendly and very helpful.
