If you demand freshest foods of the highest quality this may be your location. If you are not prepared to pay the sort of prices that come with the freshest foods of the highest quality, you should probably just go across the street to the Kroger. I wish I could justify shopping there more, but the prices will keep me away for anything I can buy elsewhere. I will continue to go here for my exotic meats like crocodile and emu.

Absolutely the best place for meat in Columbia. Period. If they don't have it they will cut it for you. Best quality around and they are much cheaper than the big box chains, especially when you consider how much better their products are. Nice people, too.

Called to check on prices of pork spare ribs. Person who answered phone was very rude. Only thing I asked was approximately how many slabs was in a 5 pound box approximately. Here response in rudest voice was it's 5 pounds. Seriously I know it's 5 pounds. Want be spending my cash there. By the way it was the two notch road location.

It was so refreshing to walk in somewhere and everyone greet you promptly and helps you find exactly what you are looking for and the staff is always so patient. Also not having to stand in those long lines like those at the big box stores is a relief when shopping. Always a great experience is what continues to keep me a loyal customer.

On 7 April 2018 Saturday morning at 9:35am my wife and I walked into the Ole Timey Meat Market. We were the only customers in the market. The cashier was on the phone and could not assist us. There were two or three butchers behind the meat counter that acted as if we didn't exist. Then an older woman of their "culture "entered behind us and the Christmas bells went off... " GOOD MORNING MA'AM, HOW ARE YOU TODAY?" They did not extended any greetings to us, so I put the turkey wings back in the freezer and left the store. We were very offended that we did not receive any greetings. However; we want to THANK YOU because we went to "Caughman's Meat N Place", a much friendlier store, customer service was EXCELLENT and we were greeted by everyone and they made us feel that they wanted our business.

My wife went into the Sandhills location and purchased $100.00 worth of meat (stuffed chicken) to be exact. They gladly took our money and bagged the meat up with the receipt. We took the meat home and refrigerated it like we normally do. BUT on this particular visit the meat spoiled and three days later when we were off we tried to return it to the location and they would not even swap the meat without a receipt eventhough the meat was wrapped up in original packaging. Also we could not return the original receipt due to the employee putting it in the bag of wet meat. So we called to try and swap some of the meat and they would not swap it out! Terrible service!! Keep that up and you will be out of business fast!! We will never buy another thing from this location! The worst thing is we have been shopping there for years and always spend at least $60-$100 each trip. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!
