This is a very nice restaurant, cozy, friendly, good service. Well decorated, clean, different dishes, parking lot, several drinks: beers and wines.

Anthony Thompson

The brunch is one of the best in the city, if not THE best. My only complaint, and I’m being serious, is that brunch should be served on Saturdays as well. I almost left when we arrived on a Saturday and there was no brunch. You’d definitely get more business.

I only had qbut I thought it was quite good. The beet and apple salad was nice. The cassoulet turned out nicely. That is a tricky dish to pull off at a restaurant as it can get dried out easily. The portions were very generous. Decent selection of wines by the glass at very fair prices. I'd be more than happy to come back for dinner some day soon!

Excellent lunch! Food is locally sourced and fine. Might be on the pricey side but you definitely get what you pay for... Highly recommended.

Ran out of house wine then charged extra for replacement wine. Ran out of scallops. Put corn in gumbo! WHO does that!!!

The service was great, super cute interior, and the food was on point. My vegetable plate was absurd. Literally the best vegetable plate I've had in my life. I cannot wait to come back and try more food. The menu is condensed but high quality with a substantial alcohol menu. Prices are on par with the quality of food.

Mitchell Reed

Top notch cooking in a casual setting with kicked up comfort food. Love this place!

Patrice Tutt

I ordered the cheese burger cooked medium. It was not enjoyable. There was no flavor. Maybe if the cheeseburgers were served with American cheese instead of Pepper Jack Cheese, it would have had more flavor. Very disappointed. Wasted my money. I was with a friend and she said the exact same thing, because the she ordered the cheeseburger too.

Food, service, atmosphere are amazing ❤️

This was my first visit. Unless I am mistaken, most parking is in the rear and your entrance is up an incline. Being age 81 and experiencing difficulty in walking, I drove around several times and luckily found one handicapped parking spot next door. That is my first issue with your restaurant. Secondly, the noise level at lunch was excessive. Carrying on a conversation with my elderly friends was difficult. I assume based on the crowd, your business caters to a younger age group. Now for the positives. The menu is impressive relative to other restaurants. I shared the carpaccio and had a chef salad. Both were excellent. Outside of my issues related to old age, you appear to have an excellent restaurant. Your website indicates delivery capability. I may try that next time. I have have highly recommended your restaurant to my daughters.

We enjoyed it

Wonderful meal, great service! Every part of the meal was so well prepared. Very generous portions and artfully presented. Located in the old Coopers Grocery, the atmosphere is beautiful and the staff makes it even better!

First, I want to say that I have never written a restaurant review before, but it’s been a long time since I’ve had a really bad meal at a restaurant with such good reviews. My friend and I decided to share the fried oysters and the vegetable plate. The oysters came out soggy. We each tried one, then left the rest. As for the roasted vegetables, the Brussels sprouts and cauliflower were good, but the okra and broccoli were basically raw. Not a good experience.

I am shocked the ratings have been this high. The wait staff was fine but the food was awful. The table next to us send their food back and the gentleman was told the pate was an “acquired” taste. You’ve already “ acquired” the taste if you order pate. I also got the pate. It was mediocre but the plate itself was very unappetizing and the mushrooms flavorless. Of the 4 entrees we ordered, none were worth the money. Perhaps their menu is a bit too ambitious. I was told the bread pudding would take extra time since it was made to order. It came out quickly and was barely warm. The peach cobbler was very good. Most disturbing was the attitude of the management, although they did reduce the bill. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Excellent! Restaurant and market. Menu changes daily. Excellent service. Will definitely go back

First of all...although the food is good and ingredients and dishes creative (the chef can definitely cook), the menu choices are way too limited. Second...there's too many times you show up and they're already out of items. They claim it's part of going to a farm to table restaurant, but after a while, it gets tiring making wasted trips. That is something they need to rectify, not put it on the customer. Third...going for lunch and paying $25 (including a $4 tip) for a small piece of swordfish and a vegetable is not sustainable for the customer and therefore the restaurants success. The choices for lunch are way too limited because they offer only 4 medium plates. If you don't like any of them, they then offer 4 LARGE plates which no one wants dinner for lunch. Why not offer 8 plates that are all lunch items?! Lastly...you have to go to Instagram to see the menu and many times it's not posted. It's been open way too long to still not have these issues resolved. This is modest dining at fine dining prices! WRITING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE GOOGLE MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ADD AN UPDATED REVIEW, AT LEAST NO WAY THAT I CAN FIND, SO I'M HOPING THIS WILL STAND OUT. JUST HAD BRUNCH AT FORK AND PLOUGH, AND HAVE HAD LUNCH AFTER MY REVIEW ABOVE. AGAIN, SHAWN KELLY (CHEF/OWNER) CAN CERTAINLY COOK AND CREATE DELICIOUS CREATIVE FOOD. CERTAINLY RIVALS ANCHORAGE AND HUSK, AND THEN SOME! MORE IMPORTANTLY HE CERTAINLY HAS BEEN LISTENING TO HIS CUSTOMERS (A RARITY IN TODAY'S RESTAURANTS). TABLE SERVICE IS NOW THE FORMAT, LUNCH ITEMS ARE MORE DIVERSIFIED, THE MENU IS CONSISTENTLY POSTED ON THE WEBSITE, AND A GENLTLER PRICED LUNCH ITEM HAS BEEN ADDED EACH DAY. THE SERVICE IS REALLY GOOD AND THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! I'D BE UPDATING THIS TO 5 STARS *****, IF I COULD ONLY FIND HOW TO DO THAT ON GOOGLE.

One of my favorites in all of Greenville!

Devine! I tasted several dishes which were all to die for! Softshell crab was cooked to perfection, beef carpochio sliced so thin you could see through the pieces, and hands-down the burger I have EVER had. The snapper was fresh and plated a pickled wax beans salad perfect for summer. If you haven’t tried this place, you are missing out!

Inconsistent. This is our 4th visit and we are wanting so badly to have this be our “go-to” restaurant since we live in walking distance. We keep going back hoping that the youth of the restaurant accounted for the lack of identity and inconsistency of both food flavor and customer service. This last visit however deems a rating. There was a designated drinks special menu that had multiple Sakes to choose from. We asked the server about the difference, if some were sweet etc. and she didn’t know what Sakes were but she’d have the manager explain. The manager said she had no idea, had never tried any, and that they were left over from a special event they had hosted. We ordered four dishes of which the Ratatouille was bland and the noodles ridiculous, the cheviche was mediocre, the Cuban sandwich was good. The foie gras was new to me and I thought it was excellent with the goat cheese waffle, figs, and wine reduction. We are disappointed that we can not expect excellence from our most local restaurant and will unfortunately be reluctant to take house guests and visitors here in the future. We are still hoping that improvements will push them in a better direction but at this time we are unable to recommend.

Love places like this where the quality is evident throughout. We went for lunch and had three dishes to share from the starters and medium plates. It was a good amount of food for a somewhat light lunch. Im sure the entrees were more filling, but we didn't try those. The price is high, but so is the quality of the food. Definitely a new one to add to the favorites list in town.

Phil Peterman

Can't believe we waited so long to try out Fork & Plough. Great food, amazing staff and all at a really good price. Farm to table never tasted so good.

Lauren Steadman

Fantastic! Went for saturday lunch and had the crispy pork belly, monte cristo and strawberry cobbler. Food was delicious and service was great. Decor and music is laid back chic.

Lisa Caudill

Always enjoy the variety of the changing menu! Tonight's catfish tenders and fries were delicious!

J Hutchins

First time, I don't think I will be returning... however I never say never. I enjoyed the meal. Extremely pricey fish and chips. The service at the bar was poor at best!!! Must need to be a regular to get service. Sad. I was hopeful after reading reviews

Cameron Patterson

I went twice and the service was really bad. I’m guessing singles don’t get the same treatment as a group? I can alone both times and I was really expecting a lot more for the price I paid. The food was good, but I felt unwelcome.

Sarah Burgess

Great atmosphere and the food is excellent. The entrees are a little pricey at dinner (although totally worth it) but they offer good apps and some small plates as well.

Gail Avery

Awesome experience. Food was delicious and loved our Pennsylvania server, Corine.

We really enjoyed our lunch here today. We both got the Burger and fries and split the Pumpkin Coconut Cream soup. The latter had a surprisingly nice spice to it which complemented the soup well. The burger was nice and juicy. They were able to accommodate our goat cheese request in place of the Swiss. I was pleased to be handed authentic malted vinegar straight from England itself when asked for my fries. A tad pricey but as I understand it’s all locally sourced farm to table ingredients which I’m OK paying extra for. Looking forward to my next visit.

It was our third time. Location and service are great. Food was good the first time, but disappointing the last two. Most dishes were too salty or too spicy. Maybe a different chef? Since they are using nice, fresh ingredients, it would be nice to be able to taste them.

Incredibly tasty burger!!!

Great food, kind servers, and fork and plough has by far the best burgers.

Unique place. 3 in 1. Store, butcher shop, restaurant and bar. The Steak Carpaccio was amazing . The Oysters where delicious. The Manager suggested a nice refreshing bottle of Rose wine. David our waiter was great and suggested the snicker doodle cookie for dessert, it was great.

Amy Mathews

Patty Cheezem

Casual eatery and bar with butcher shop, take out sides, some bakery items, beer and wine with reasonable portion sizes. Properly prepared and reasonably sized portions. Order at counter, server will take your drink order at table. Pay at end of meal.

Dan Howard

They just opened and are going through some startup issues. I'll cut them a break on that. Good food but very pricey and extremely small portions.

Linda Kelly

Fork and Plough is so delicious, clean and welcoming. For lunch we shared a plate of chicken wings, my husband got the fried green tomato BLT and I got the crabby patty sandwich and we were more than impressed. It was so good we want back the next day for brunch, it was mind blowing. Best food I have ever had.

It was the most delicious meal I’ve had in a long time. The service, the atmosphere, and the food is top notch. We will be back

Vickey Durham

I visited this restaurant 11/8/18 for the first time. The staff was very friendly. I ordered BLT and Berts chili. I gets out to the car and realized that my cornbread was missing. I went back in to get it and while standing in front of a staff member I told her that I didn’t see the cheese or sour cream either. She told me that they put it in with the chili. Needless to say I got home and there was no cheese or sour cream. The food was delicious, but I didn’t get what I paid for. Unhappy customer

First time here and we loved it. The food, the atmosphere and the service were all great.

Great food, great service, recommend it to everyone

As soon as we walked in, I new this was my type of restaurant. Great atmosphere. Amazing staff. And a diverse food selection from which I tried several different options; meat and cheese plate, bone marrow, pork croquettes, and bohn mi. Each bite was perfect. I’m disappointed I live eight hours away and can’t make this my new jam. Well done, chef Shawn Kelly, Roddy, and Chad. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Greenville.

This was my first visit. I love the concept and neighborhood "feel". However the food was disappointing. The pumpkin soup was served lukewarm, the bacon-wrapped quail was completely overpowered by a very strong mustard sauce, and the side dishes too salty to eat. I'd heard good things about this restaurant so maybe it was an "off" night. Will try again another time.

Delicious Easter Brunch with family and friends.

We had a great Saturday lunch! You order at the counter and sit anywhere. Very fast and surprisingly great! I had the blackened catfish and my wife had gnocchi. Both dishes were wonderful. The menu changes often so your choices may be different. If you're visiting then this should be on the top of your restaurant list! If you live in Greenville this should be in your regular rotation. They also have butchered meats, take and bake quiches, and many other items. The ribeyes looked very nice. I'll tell you about them once I grill then up for dinner!

Emily Dallam Copp

Great spot that I’m so glad is in my neighborhood now. The food is wonderful and elevated, but the atmosphere is casual and not pretentious.

Brent Harris

Ryan Beck

Highly recommend. My wife and I stopped by after work for drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. They did a great job on the restoration of any old building in an up and coming part of town. We had the fried oysters and the gnocchi. The fried oysters were amazing with the right amount of heat. I have had gnocchi in Italy - and I must confess - The gnocchi at Fork and Plough was the best I have had. My wife and I could not believe the amazing flavors and fresh taste. We will be back, many more times.

Delicious! Burger was amazing, and the beef carpaccio was a real treat. A little on the pricey side, but the food is worth it. I wish the bar portion stayed open later, even just until 12. Lots of neighborhood people that would love a nearby spot for good late night drinks

Creative food. Perfect for 2 or more.

I had the seared mahi mahi with green pea and beet risotto (pic) and it was great! The salmon crustini was even better. The wife's pork chop and grits was also really good. Ty is the man.

Fork & Plough provided us with the best overall experience in the Greenville area during our work trip! Our experience on Friday night was so outstanding that we returned for a lunch on Sunday. The cuisine, atmosphere, and hospitality is unparalleled. Will definitely be back! (Hopefully soon)

Best place in Greenville for fresh, creative, indulgent, delicious meals. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly and accommodating. Sunday brunch is awesome, but, don't sell yourself short, all week long there is something inviting. Check out their Instagram for some real decadent shots of some of their best dishes.

Brandi Moran

Best burger I have ever had. The over all experience of this restaurant was amazing. I was traveling for work when I stumbled across this place and I will definitely go back anytime I am in the area.

Kevin Allen

Had a delicious pastrami sandwich .the strawberry feta salad was ok. I would have like the darker balsamic dressing on it. Prices were high for lunch

sarian rivera

Nice place, but terrible dine in service. Decided to leave after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to take our order. I understand if they were under staff, but not even a “I will be with you shortly”. When we left the host said have a good night, yup didn’t even noticed we walked out...was it packed? Absolutely not!!!! It’s all in the small details....

I just had the Lunchbreak Special which was a Ham and Cheese Croissant with a small Salad. There wasn't enough! I thought the ham and cheese croissant would have been bigger. :(

Farm fresh food, well prepared, perfect sized portions, and good service. Music was loud, but it wasn't playing all the time. Well seasoned tomato soup was healthy, grilled cheese sandwich was delicious.

Oh so amazing! I was here for business lunch, and we shared the Artichoke Dip w/crackers - really good! I had the Vegetable Plate, with grilled Chicken as my Entree, it was phenomenal!!! Veggies were well seasoned and the grilled chicken is one of the best I had ever had, honestly! Extremely juicy and flavorful! This place is definitely a must visit if you're in Greenville!

Amazing farm to table with a great selection of wines, local meat and goods, bakery items. Such a great greenville addition

Tye Cantrell

Everything here is very very fresh and well prepared. It really is a great place with options for anyone and everyone and at reasonable price. Burgers, vegetarian and vegan options, small plates, steaks, seafood literally a bit of everything to choose from. Also has a great selection of grocery items to take home with you!!! 5 stars all around

Dominique Choice

Loved it! Thank you. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious, fresh, and different. Prices are up there but I understand why and it was totally worth it for my family and I. The only suggestion I have would be marking the spicy items on the menu. My Husband and Father-in-law got the burger, which had a bit of spice. Not a problem for my husband, but even pepper can set my Father-in-law on

Katherine Lynch

Fresh food. Ever changing menu. I’ve discovered new things that I love bc of the limited options. It’s always an adventure when you go. They do have a top notch, flavorful burger for the not so adventurous palate. Still amazing. I highly recommend the beef carpaccio! Please don’t try to leave without trying it. Also, get the carrot cake when they have it. It’s the best carrot cake I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot of carrot cake. The hibiscus tea is refreshing and just good and light. As questions if you’re not sure about menu items, the team there are very approachable and nice. Enjoy!

Mark Johnson

I joined several friends for a delicious brunch earlier today at Fork and Plough! It was everyone's first time here. The decor is very appealing and the staff was very friendly. I wasn't starving so I picked two items off the "starters" section of the menu. First, I had chilled cucumber and artichoke soup with smoked salmon and lemon oil. This was followed by fresh fruit, yogurt and granola and an RC Cola. Everything I had was fresh and delicious. I based my 4 star review almost solely on the food. The service model needs some work. One word, confusion, can best describe our sevice/dining experience. Confusion starts before you even enter the restaurant. After you park in the back parking lot, you walk up to the side of the building. There is no sign explaining which door to use. Do you go in the front/street facing door or the side entrance? We walked to the front only to find out you must use the side entrance. The notice is written on the door, but there should be a sign giving directions to the side entrance before guests walk to the front entrance. Everyone in my group found the ordering process a bit confusing. Streamlining the ordering process could go a long way to make eating here closer to a 5-star experience. As it is now, you start the dining experience being greeted by a hostess who tries explaining how to order. The menu is on the wall at the counter and available printed on paper at the cash register. Once at the counter, you order your food and get an order number. You have to wait to order drinks from a server at the table or at the bar. You can also grab a bottle drink from the cooler. Once you sit down with your order number, a server brings you a chilled bottle of water for the table. All of this leaves you feeling a little incomplete because you still have not paid. Is there someplace else to go to pay? After the food arrived, I asked the server. She said that you pay at the end of the meal. In spite of the ordering experience, Fork and Plough is a great new addition to Greenville's farm to table restaurant scene. I will definitely be going back for the great food and hope the ordering process will be streamlined/fixed soon.

Succulent fresh kale Ceasar, great everything else, locally obtained.

Lizette Pirtle

Beautiful place, great food, good drink variety. Thumbs up for the first day!!!

Phil Yanov

It's an odd little place. The food was ok. The service was ok. The drink selection is limited. I couldn't quite figure out what this place is trying to be. It left me confused.

Alanna King

Upscale food in a casual atmosphere. Despite trying to eat healthier in the new year, I couldn't resist the chicken fried pork chop sandwich. A modern and elevated take on a Southern classic! I appreciate that local, seasonal ingredients are used and that the menu is constantly changing. I can look forward to trying something new every time!

Chris D

Location is good and convenient but after several times visiting the food and service is really hit or miss. Can't figure out why the inconsistency other than maybe they have a bit of an identity issue....restaurant? grocery store? bar? Maybe still trying to figure out what they are best at.
