If you like meat like I like meat this is the place to get your meat. They have raw meat, and cooked meat. WPC has dried, cured meat and moist tender meat. They have sliced meat and ground meat. WPC has cow, fowl, pig and goose meat. Meat, meat, meat... Time to eat some meat. Oh yeah, they have non-meat stuff too. A lot of stuff to season your meat and stuff to eat with your meat.

Visited for the first time yesterday on the recommendation of a friend and wasn't disappointed! I picked up some 2" thick NY Strip steaks that they cut for me on the spot. The meat was fantastic and extremely delicious. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, from the butcher, counter staff, cashiers, etc. They have a huge selection of meats, both fresh and frozen, as well as a lot of seafood. They also have a FANTASTIC selection of spices at great prices. The store is spacious and well laid out and full of stuff that will make you very hungry. I will certainly be a regular customer from this point forward. If you question making the drive out there, let me just say it's well worth the trip. If you're having a BBQ or just making a nice dinner, this is a one-stop shop to get everything you need.

Westerly packing is a traditional grocer. There is a deli, a butcher, fresh produce, and breads. The meat is excellent quality at a good price. Soupy (traditional italian hard sausage) is made and sold here. They also have wine making supplies, and a section for resturant supplies and bulk foods at wholesale prices. Highly recommended for cookout/party food purchases, all your deli and butcher needs, and quick stops for staple foods.

This place is off the beaten path but worth seeking out. They have lots of imported Italian goods such as San Marzano tomatoes, imported parmesan and Romano cheese, the best soupy (in four different levels of hotness )that I've ever had. Their meatball mix is better than my own and there is a nice selection of beef and pork, ground, steaks and chops. I drive here from CT.
