Dave's Marketplace is wonderful! It is a clean, convenient place to shop. The food is very fresh, and it is good quality. The staff members are always ready to help, and are very friendly. This is also a nice grocery store, because it is not too big. Although at the same time, it has a wide variety of food choices. We like it very much!

Great location. We go to Dave's on regular basis, however, when RT44 gets busy it can be a pain going to the bigger Dave's down the street, this location has most things I need and it's on my way home. Good customer service.

I purchased the cod fish from the prepared hot food today. It was awful. Too much breading and not enough fish. I only purchased an amount for one meal and wound up eating about a tablespoon of it. Gross! Dave's used to prep scrod. Guess those days are gone!

I had a terrible experience with a cashier today at your store. I mistakenly assumed that the person in line in front of me had completed her order. I moved the divider to the back of the conveyer belt so the woman behind me could use it. The cashier began to scan my items with the person's ahead of me. I said, "Oh, those are mine!" when I realized she had started scanning. The cashier looked at me, rolled her eyes and sighed angrily. Feeling as though I was being blamed for a simple mistake, I responded, "That wasn't my fault." She snapped, "Did I SAY that it was your fault?" When the customer in front of me gave her a personal check, she proceeded to complain how personal checks had been giving her problems all day. I stood there silently until it was my turn. The cashier, probably sensing how inappropriate her reaction was, told me that she assumed my items belonged to the other customer and that no, it was not my fault. Your employee's behavior was inappropriate and unprofessional, no matter how bad a day she was having. It was embarrassing and hurtful to be scolded by a store employee. If I had looked older, I am confident I would not have been treated the same way. I will not be returning to Dave's.

Instead of reminding customers that they were closing at eight, the staff passive aggressively talked loudly about "customers who come in after we close" with each other, making rude comments & laughing in hysterics when I was checking out at 7:50. I work a similar job and would never speak to or infront of people like this. No longer getting the business from my family of ten.
