Awesome people serving awesome food. We have tried a lot of the menu items. Wings are great boneless or bone-in. Can't go wrong with a hoagie piled with the onions. But since I have become diabetic my favorite is the club salad with added roast beef. It is just like the hoagie just without the carbs. Yummy. We visit every week from Altoona. We always look forward to Wednesday's. Big shout out to all your crew members they all make us feel like family and not just a customer. Oh I almost forgot, don't forget to stop back at the meat counter. We also have bought a lot of the items and have not been disappointed.

First, this is a very popular local sandwich/deli. It is NOT subway, blimpie, etc. That being said, they are very friendly, have good food, snacks and beverages. It's the kind of local where "everybody knows your name". They even have a legit deli in the back with cold cuts as well as beef, pork, chicken, etc for larger entrees. Once thing that will be unfamiliar to non-locals is the way some subs are listed. You might see/hear some one order "One Cold Sub" or "One Hot Sub"....these are essentially cold cut "club" sandwiches with varying toppings to make them more/less spicy (hot/cold, etc). Word of warning...even the "Cold" sub comes with a TON of shredded onions. If you like onions (which I do) that is a good thing. They are "sweet" onions. However, if you do not like onions I suggest you pass on them.

One of the best subs I've had. My father in law works in Tyrone and had half a hoagie leftover one night and it was love at first bite. I was amazed that a full meal is cheaper than a footlong sub at Subway, and it was worth every penny. The bread was so soft and the meat was piled on nice and thick. I've yet to try the pizza here, but I've tried the wings and they're pretty amazing tasting, too. There's only a few tables to eat in, and I recommend calling ahead on a weekend evening if getting hot food because it gets busy. They have a great selection of prepared soups and dips, plus baked goods and desserts. This is definitely going to be my new go to spot.

You won't find a more welcoming experience at any other store! More importantly though, is the food! Some of my favorites include the cold turkey hoagie....all those onions YUMMMM, pizza with bacon and mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, chicken rice soup, fresh meats and cheese, and last but certainly not least, their stuffing is literally the best stuffing on this planet!!! If you haven't gone to Mac's, you're missing out!

Mac's is my favorite!!! The extra cheese pizza is out of this world amazingly good!! I recommend this place to everyone and bring my family when they visit from out of town. The only thing I would wish for is that they would add cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks to the menu. Other than that, Mac's is perfect and I like that it is local and family owned and they are polite even when it gets busy.

Amazing pizza, probably the best pizza in Tyrone, and I've tried them all. OIP great pizza and good Italian. But Macs the best pizza period! They have other great food also, it is a very popular local restaurant. So order ahead especially on Friday or the weekend.
