Love this place, Total local gem. Get my BBq here and have taken two deer in for processing and the service is great. The dude looks like a butcher from the 1800's and his friendly nature shows that he really enjoys his craft, this makes dealing with him a pleasure. The pepperoni is excellent and being close to some of my early season hunting spots makes dropping off meat in warm weather painless and quick. Place is always busy so that says everything about customer retention

Whites country meats is forcing a coffee shop "Kombi Coffee" off there property with only a 30 day notice This coffee shop has been there for around 20 years. I get it's their property and their right, but 30 days to upend a coffee shop, find a spot to move it, and have it moved is not a reasonable amount of time. Seeing how they treat people has officially turned me from shopping here.

This is a very clean meat market with reasonable prices. I have never been in this store when there is not a line of people waiting but it does not take them long to get through the long so it is not a long wait. I highly recommend Whites if you want to purchase good quality meats and sausages.

I called these guys at 6:23pm on February 22nd asking about dog bones not knowing they closed at 6:30. They did not tell me they were closing and hence I drive 17 miles to get some treats for my dog and I get there at 6:40 only to get laughed at by the staff. Brought our elk here for processing and out first encounter was unpleasant cause the kid in the back was being a douch. We came strait from the field and didnt have running water to get hair off meat so when we got there he told us they don't wash the meat. We took our meat to the closest car wash and sprayed the meat to try to get off all the hair we could. They processed it and when we got our meat back super fast, I've had a couple stakes (which I had to pick off a little hair, but no biggy) and they were delicious. The hamburger is also on point with it being very well packaged. The place was busy and I was trying not to drool on the display glass. Over all when I get another animal to process I wouldn't second guess to bring it back here.

Been going there for over 30 years. My favorite meat market. Most of the people working there are great. They do get very busy at times but are always helpful and knowledgeable. All of the meat I've got from there is great. I buy bulk meat packs for the freezer and usually pick up their excellent pepperonies for me and my dog. Also, my wife loves the pepper steaks. I could spend all day in there but I would go broke. Pork sausage is great, several different kinds. I went there when they first opened the doors in the '80s because I lived a short walk away. Moved to Portland for 25 years and drove to Whites instead of Gartner's (which is good, too. And much closer) Now I'm back to Gresham and happily close to Whites.

Great meat, I went in for the first time trying to get some meat for a barbecue. Young kid "Mr Sauce" helped me immediately, recommended the pepper steaks and they were fantastic. Kid had me in and out quick, radiated good energy the entire time. Highly recommend, especially the pepper steaks. Also asked if they had rabbit, they do but it's frozen (it's the standard, I have never found fresh rabbit looking locally outside of a breeder) but I mean to try it next time I go in and will post an update regarding it.

This was to be THE!!!place to go for the best meat products....not anymore,,..we purchased 2 Chicken cordon bleu that had virtually no cheese and ground ham.. Not sliced but ground fatty ham. We have been loyal customers since 1992 but not anymore. This is not an anomaly, We have had to return too many items or simply dispose of bad products out of frustration. Don't depend on your purchase there to be of the top quality that they used to be. We miss the whites meat market that it used to be

I grew up going to Gartner’s, in Portland. We LOVE that place! My husband wanted to try White’s, so we finally went yesterday. Our oldest daughter & I like Gartner’s pepperoni better. However, BOTH White’s and Gartner’s have very tasty chicken cordon bleu! I did favor White’s stuffed pork chops over Gartner’s, but it’s been years since I’ve had Gartner’s stuffed pork chops. Customer service is great at BOTH places!! I would recommend both!!! Thank you White’s!!! I’m a Gartner’s girl, but we will definitely be back!!! OH! The one thing White’s offers, that Gartner’s doesn’t is human grade dog food & treats!!! We got treats for our dog on our visit. My husband smelled the “puperoni” & it smelled like the pepperoni, so he tried a bite. It’s smoked, but the meat isn’t seasoned at all. Their dog food only has three ingredients too!

Disappointed!- I have been to a few places for game processing in the portland metro area. I would have to say this is not one of my favorite places. When I dropped off the meat the guy was very polite and helpful. From there it all seemed to roll down hill. The time frame went about three weeks past the approximate date. However that part you come to expect when getting sausage and pepperoni made. The communication between drop off and pick up was rude and inconsiderate. They acted like they were my customer and it was there way or no way. I wasn't being difficult or expecting anything out of the ordinary. Just simple standard questions about pick up and payment. Now that I have picked up my items they are not packaged correctly at all. I asked for packages for a family of six. Instead I have about 20 sausages per package. the pepperoni is packaged larger than what you would see in a retail setting on a store counter. Not to mention about 30% of the packages are not even sealed. All of my sausage and pepperoni now has to be thawed and re packaged. The pepperoni is dry and tastes like there is too much cure in it. The jalapeño cheddar summer sausage is probably about the only thing packaged in a reasonable size and tastes ok but the cheap cheese they used is melted and greasy. The only positive I have to say is there meat counter had great prices. I would consider buying meat from them at some point but I will never take my game there again. I would suggest they consider the expense and effort that goes into it for the people dropping off there game to them. While to them it may just be another order but for us its a year of planning, expenses and memories that cannot be replaced so easily.

Boys and girls, be warned that this is not the type of meat market that you pick up a honey to spend a nice evening with. I went here looking for a lifelong friend and found that they actually sell butchered animals, not dates. But I left a very satisfied customer! The best meat in town. The evening was actually amazing in comparison to if I would have had a date. The peppered steak that I bought only talked to me in a sweet a juicy way that only steaks can. No talk back, just a quiet evening in meat heaven. Thank you White's! May you birth a thousand lambs this year!

THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER MEAT MARKET OR STORE THAT CAN COMPARE TO WHITES QUALITY & AMAZING SERVICE!!! My family literally has been going to whites meats since the 60's or 70's that i know of... My grandmother started going there when my mom was young and then my mom would take me i was born in 1979 and i still remember going into that same store in the 1980s as a little kid and i remember how nice they were you me and my mom! Now i am a mother and I've taken all my kids there we're regular customers.. and recently had my first grandchild and he'll one day go there too lol! I've tried buying meat other places over the years of i wasn't near gresham but I'm always so disappointed work other stores! I'm kinda spoiled lol i have had the best and all else is no comparison! Thanks whites meats for being such an amazing business!!!

I have taken my deer to whites meats for MANY years to be processed. The last 2 years I've noticed a huge change. Their breakfast sausage used to be absolutely excellent. It was one of the main reasons I would get my deer processed there. I was disappointed when I fried up fresh patties. They just didn't taste the same. My thuringer sausage used to come in plastic packaging. It really helped seal in the moisture. This last year it came in some sort of paper packaging. All of it has begun to dry out and is hardly edible. Also, I had to throw out several packages of sausage links due to a poor quality seal and freezer burn. I will not be bringing my deer to whites meats this hunting season. I miss their old product.
