It's a hot day and I just watched the employees unloading several boxes of meat from the trunk of a car and carry them inside. I would think that meat should be refrigerated.

Very nice business owners, selection seems great and they have a freezer full of bones and other things come in handy for broth, etc! My only complaint is that they do not offer grass fed/antibiotic/hormone free options in beef or bones. They get their meat from the BIG suppliers (Cargill, not really local?) which scares me a bit because the bigger the cattle flock and the more these big companies produce the more antibiotics, supplemented grain and corn (gmo) they must feed. Other than that, good.

I would not go anywhere else for the hot and spicy sausage I serve to my guests. I buy 10 lbs of it at a time then fire up the grill. My family and friends know how I feel about these sausages and they cherish and invitation to one of my backyard bbq. Thanks to this butcher shop!

We came in for a tri-tip and the woman behind the counter cut us one on the spot. She was incredibly friendly and fast! We also purchased some breakfast sausage and chicken livers for our dogs. They carry a variety of cuts of meat in addition to farm fresh eggs, seasonings, marinades, and more. When we got home, we found a “thank you” card in our bag and this small gesture has made us return customers! We will gladly trek to Norman to support Artisan’s Pride!

I sent my wife up to get some fajita meat and she came home with roast sliced thin at 14 dollars a pound and they said it was between flank and sirloin which is still beyond pricey for that cut. Never would have got this kind of service at my normal butcher in shawnee R I P. Will never visit again for some BS ground chuck. I've never picked my teeth for meat at that price. Thanks for the inconvenience and knowing I better travel to my home town for a decent cut. Or even the Hispanic butchers in town. Thanks for nothing.

If you buy meat any other place, you're doing it wrong. Been a customer for years. My family refuses to eat steak unless it's from Artisan Pride. I've tried to sneak steak from Crest and Walmart home when Artisan was closed and it was a no go.
