This is a local market near The University of Toledo. The variety of products is incredible. The meat offered is one of the best in town so far. Highly recommend, You will not be disappointed.

My mother asked me to take her to Toledo Market to pick up some meat. We had been looking for lamb and she thought they may have some. And they did! And at a very reasonable price too. Everyone who assisted us were very polite. The lamb shoulder cuts we cooked were very good. Shop here to find all of your Middle Eastern cooking needs.

The Toledo Market is a true gem! As soon as you pass through the doors the smells are intoxicating! There is so much freshness going on it is truly a gem. The deli case is wonderful with fresh prepared homemade dishes served in very big portions for a very reasonable price. I personally love the spinach pies, yum!! The store has very fresh produce with some items you simply do not find at the big grocery stores. There are all the staples you would expect to find at a Lebanese market. The meat counter is awesome with a lot of freshly prepared halal meats. Everything I have ever purchase has been fresh and delicious! The breads are fresh, of course. If I didn't live 40 minutes away I would be here 2-3 times a week getting the best for my family :-) The staff are very helpful and friendly and patient, even with us Americans who sometimes don't know what were asking for, they are always helpful. I would highly recommend the Toldeo market to all who are looking for fresh thoughtfully prepared foods!!!!!!

Great selection of goods, some hard to find. Prices are super reasonable, especially for things like spices, oil, and rice. The deli makes great chow. The butcher shop is incredible. We buy lots of lamb here because it's the best in town and not over priced like in the supermarket.

dirty and smelly store. they sell disgusting, overcooked and overpriced food. the staff seriously need some customer services as well as learn to wash their hand before touching food. train your male staff to respect female customer, i got a serious stomach ache from consuming goodies bought from here.

I bought three different items in three different times, and unfortunately when I came home, I realized all of them had expired. I will never buy anything in this store and I recommend if you have to buy sth, please check the expiration date.

Not that great. I had really I hopes for this place because I've been looking for some type of Afghan food. Unfortunately I had a chicken kebab meal with white rice and the chicken soup. The chicken soup did not go together and was not that great. Something tasted a little offwith the hummus received. the nan bread just look like a tortilla and the rice was good rice mixed with some crispy rice and some overcooked look like it's been in that container for several days rice.maybe it is the uncleanliness and it is psychologically getting to me. However it did not help when I went to the meat department and some of the meats looked like they weren't being stored at the right temperature or something and looked like old meat that had been sitting there. Unfortunately I have to wait till I go back home to have a good Middle Eastern food. But if you're shopping for things in close containers that you can prepare at home for Middle Eastern type foods this would probably be your place to shop. But as far as the food I can not recommend this place.

The lady is indeed pretty rude, doesn't greet you on the phone or say bye, but she does her job well, never screwed up anything and answers any question I had about the products. Everyone else is pretty approachable that works there, and they have the best prices for some of the stuff they sell in the area.

Today's date 3/11/2017 it's 9:40am I called to place a carry out order The female lady who answered was very rude She wouldn't even say good morning after I greeted her first then I asked her to connect to the kitchen & she said they don't open till 11 & hung up on me I called her back to ask about prices for their fresh pies & a dozen falafel and she responded I told u the kitchen doesn't open till 11 and hung up on me again U think after losing so much business & the repeated selling of the store & business for the 6th time within 5 years that their customer service will improve Thank god for the Middle East market & their friendly & professional staff I j hope the new owners will improve the service at this place
