Every town across the US should have a place like this. Rustic/beautiful location and building which makes this place feel cozy and local. It's not just a pretty shop though, High High high quality meats including top grade Wagu, Dry Aged charcuterie and steaks, and amazing cheese as well. Just go visit. it's a must.

The family and I wanted a nice dinner stopped in for some fish. Ended up with some really nice grouper (to do on the smoker) and stuffed rabbit for surf and turf. The rabbit was recommended by the staff and the staff was all very kind. I had my father in law with me from out of town and he loved the experience. And the cuts were perfect !!

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and boy were we surprised! I thought it was just a meat market, but they have so much more! We bought some bone-in pork chops that were about an inch thick. We tried a couple of different cheeses and bought a very mild, milky-white cheddar and some pepperoni. They were delicious on crackers. We also picked up an Ohio honey goat cheese spread which was also great. We grilled the pork chops while were were enjoying the cheeses and everything for our Sunday night dinner was delicious. If you're not sure what you want for dinner on a Sunday night - stop in and talk to the nice people behind the counter. They'll have some great suggestions for some amazing food!

A nice selection of reasonably priced meats. I'm told there's a butcher on site. I was happy to see short rib sliced to make kalbi. Maybe some sliced ribeye for bulgolgi, too? Please? The small selection of seafood looks top notch, but is also pricey. The same is true of brats. I saw that they age on site, including a full pork haunch. Southern style pork would be awesome. They supplement with a handful of nice, but slightly overpriced artisanal cheeses, produce, and other niceties. These items are handy if you want to one stop shop, though you'd find more selection and better prices nearby.

Holy cr@p! This place is awesome! I stopped in on a whim, I ended up leaving with a whole bunch of delicious meat's and cheese. This is a great store! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This is my new go to for meat, and I live in Cleveland so it's worth the drive. Great job!!

Visited The Farmer's Rail for the first time today....what a great experience! This business truly is a local gem. The shop was incredibly clean and vibrant. All of the employees were extremely friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. The meat & cheese selection is excellent and there are also some great options for people like me with dietary restrictions or for those who simply choose to eat as clean as possible. Kudos to the entire team and thank you for the great experience!

Great selection and friendly, attentive staff. Somewhat pricey but you're paying for quality. Absolutely love the prime ribeye steaks and already planning our next trip for tri-tip. The family loves their beef sticks, too.

Excellent pasture-raised meats and a small variety of dairy, bakery and other fare (including fresh organic produce during the summer.) Very courteous, friendly staff. A little pricey, but worth it for healthy, high quality food. The Bruntys have a great butcher shop that I visit regularly.

Old school butcher shop and deli. The feel when you walk in this place is amazing! Even though it’s brand new, you feel like you are walking into a old butcher shop from 100 years ago. Locally raised meats from Brunty Farms and amazing deli meats!

Nothing makes my tummy feel better than locally sourced food from friendly people. I have buying poultry from brunty farms for years at the countryside farmers market and now it is all available 6 days a week. Brilliant! Try the Italian chicken bratwurst. Another thing I noticed, I was pulling out of the parking lot 5 minutes after closing time and a pickup pulled up. The employee stayed open for one last shopper. Nice.

I’m unable to comment about the quality of their meat, as I haven’t been able to purchase any. They really need something to manage the line/crowd. I kept trying to say I was next but they kept helping other customers. Someone finally asked what I wanted, then told me to wait because she needed to do something. Rather than the next clerk helping me, she helped someone else. I eventually gave up and left. Addendum in response to Owner: Thank you for your reply. Please see DeVitis, Krieger, Heinens or any other busy butcher/deli for ideas how to handle busy times. (Ticket system, queue rope, etc.) The fact you had to check the security camera to confirm my story makes it even worse because it means that the worker who asked what I'd like then stopped to work on something else didn't care enough about a customer to follow-up with her coworkers to make sure I was taken care of, or even notice when I left unassisted. It also means that you lost more than one customer on Saturday because I was in a little after 10:30, the person who walked out unassisted between 11:30-12 wasn't me.
