Meats by John & Wayne has been my go to meat shop for the last couple of years now. They have pretty decent prices and some of the freshest and best meats in the area. I really enjoy all of the flavors of bratwurst and sausages as well as all of their jerky. Just about everything I've had from here is top notch. Highly recommended.

If you are a vegetarian stay away! This is a meat lover's old fashion meat shop minus the sawdust on the floor. Stop for one thing and walk out with a half a cow thats how it works there. This is one serious meat shop so give it a try.

Food poisoning 3 times. Threw up well done cooked beef sausage profusely. Returned the remaining food, was treated angerly by the owner. If he was a gentleman I'd change my review, but sometimes returns happen and it's not my fault I got food poisoning from YOUR PRODUCT. You were more concerned about a return of your product than your paying customer vomiting your meat all over. Your apprise backwards when dealing with dissatisfied customers.

Knowledgeable butchers, but their prices are a bit on the high side. Went in yesterday hoping to buy a full packer brisket. The cuts of meat they showed me were USDA choice (not bad, and they didn't have prime, I asked) but they were priced $.50/pound higher than USDA prime elsewhere making it kind of hard to justify sending the extra cash on as lower quality of meat. Having said that, I do believe they run a good shop overall and I will continue to shop there.

I love this place! This was the first meat market I visited when I moved to Fargo 12 years ago. Great selections and if they don't have it they can get it. The "In Store" made products are Amazing!! Meat Sticks, Sausages, marinades and sauces everyone is great. I really miss John :-( I always looked forward to giving him a bad time and him doing the same to me. On the upside Wayne is just as great! 12 years of consistent quality and fantastic customer service. This is how you run a business. Great job guys, Jamie
