Worse upscale restaurant in its class.Food is over priced and sucks and atmosphere is even worse! Whole dining experience was terrible. Owner whose boyfriend stared at us the whole made for a very awkward situation especially seeing as we all know very well that she is married to a professor at the local college! All and all poor taste and definitely poor class on the owners part. Anyone with any morals will definitely not take they're family here for a dining experience!! 10/10 WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND!

Absolutely DELISH! Hubby said best burger ever and he eats lots of burgers! I got the ribeye sandwich combo and it was really good. We will be back for sure!!

Just had lunch there and I have a few complaints... no direction on how to order or where to order. No clear menu's. I ordered the pig wings and they were tough as leather! Maybe I went on a bad day, but I WILL NOT be returning to find out if the food is better.

We visited Saturday August 17th. There were 7 of us, we each had something different and then tasted each other’s. It was ALL EXCELLENT. We will DEFINITELY eat there again when in the area. The people who were working were so friendly and helpful. 5 Stars!!!!

We just ate at the Whiskey Pig and it was excellent. I had the French Dip and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. The String Bean Casserole was great as well. They even gave us a side of Zucchini for free for our 9 month old son to munch on. Very nice people and great atmosphere. We will be back.

Great grass fed meats! Meals are mouth watering delicious! If you still have room, the deserts are yummy too! The owner & workers get right down to great conversations with you, especially once they find out you have Jones blood in ya!

Exceptional customer service! We chose to have a late dinner this weekend and they had started the process of closing up for the night when we arrived. Chef Jason greeted us upon walking in and took care of us himself from seating to checkout, he is very personable & treats you like a friend. Everything was delicious and large portions we both had leftovers which made for great lunches. My partner had the surf and turf special with a very tender well seasoned ribeye perfectly cooked garlic shrimp. I had the Hawaiian Ham and Swiss at Chefs recommendation and I will definitely be getting it again, great balance of sweet & salty with enough cheese you could taste but not so much it overpowered the other flavors.

Well this one was very disappointing the outside looks better than the inside I get the rustic look. But the service should be welcoming it was not and the food was not good pig wings where so hard I I could not eat them. No menu but on the window outside . But the specials where on the wall written on a big brown paper bag.(but her paper. sorry guys two thumps down. ++ AWSlater

Big price, small portions. Let me start off by saying this is only their second day open so I don't expect it to be perfect. However, for how much it costs I expect to get more. I understand this is a farm to table type of restaurant but wow, $12 for just the burger is a bit steep! Add fries for $3 and a $2 drink and you got one expensive lunch. The burger was tasty although it was a bit dry and small. The sauce for the sweet potato fries was excellent. The salad and panini my wife got were both good. We were told a cup of water would be $2 just like the tea. I think the girl taking our order was wrong on that... at least I hope so. It cost about $50 for 3 of us to eat lunch. It was not crowded when we got there and service was good. A little later and the line was backed up and moving slow. I saw a few people leave but that may have been due to the very limited menu. There are only a few options. Hopefully the menu will expand and prices will become reasonable in time. I will definitely try the Whiskey Pig again, but it will have to be next Valentine's Day b/c it will take that long to save up for it...lol.

This place is AMAZING! The staff is the friendliest and nicest as to be expected here in downtown Kinston. We live in New Bern and frequent Kinston often. We have been waiting with high expectations for Whisky Pig to open and they did not disappoint. If you have a bad experience here then it is your own fault. The food was very tasty and the price is expected as the ingredients are farm raised.

Came here tonight after finding it on the web. Grass fed meat and homemade food. It doesn't look like much but the food is AMAZING! I had the hamburger. They make it anyway you want with tons of toppings available. My husband had the three meat plate with mac and cheese and homemade mashed potatoes. We both walked away full and content. We were lucky enough to go on free cake Friday and got dessert on the house. Definately a go out of your way place to eat!
