Great, freshly made sandwiches and some of the most beautiful cuts of meat and sausages. Very fair and competitive prices. It's a 3 hour drive for me but worth ever mile driven and every penny spent. I highly recommend. Can I give 6 stars? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Southern Craft Butchers has my all time favorite sandwich -- the Turkey and Chipotle Gouda. That sandwich is awesome! I'm just drooling thinking about it. I'm sure their other sandwiches and meats are great too, but that's all I ever get. The staff are friendly and Lafayette Village is nice to walk around. But man that sandwich is great.

My wife and I get a pound of their filet loin cut as one whole piece. We season it with steak seasoning and grill it on our Green Egg and it may be the best steak I have ever had. The steak is not cheap by any means, but you definitely get what you pay for and we cannot get a steak to taste this good from anywhere else. They even have great side dishes and from what I hear their Philly Steak sand which made with brisket I believe is unreal.

My wife and I frequently go to a coffee shop in the shopping center... I am slightly upset that we recently discovered this gem in our city. I have no purchased any meat from here yet, but plan on it on my next visit. However.... I am here to talk about the burger that I had at this place. The first time we visited was by luck... mainly because I was hungry when my wife was buying a coffee. I got the pimento cheese burger and my wife had a sandwich. We usually share whatever food we have half and half, but I think she might of gotten only a bite of this burger

Super excited for a new butcher option in Raleigh! Visited for the first time on Saturday in search of hog casings to make homemade sausage. After being quoted an outrageous price from one of their competitors, Southern Craft Butcher really came through! Friendly, unpretentious staff is a plus! This will be our new meat market :-)

You can get any cut you want as long as you call ahead. A little pricey but they clearly know what they are doing and are very good at it. They were very helpful in giving some advise as well since I was trying to smoke a piece of meat I had not tried before.

This place is a great addition to North Raleigh! The sandwiches are absolutely fantastic, and the cuts of meat are great as well. The owner is always there and extremely friendly and helpful. Great to have a locally owned and operated butcher as an alternative to some of the chain Butcher's Markets. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Walked in today on a whim. The crew working the counter were great, nice and knowledgable. Pastured/Local products. I tried out the beef/bacon burger blend which had awesome flavor. Check them out. Update: This place has become a weekly visit for me now that they've added deli sandwiches to their menu. Great slices of meats and cheese on crusty chewy ciabatta bread. My goto is the house roast beef w/ Provolone.

This place is amazing! First, they have awesome selection of different cuts of meats. AND their sandwiches are absolutely delicious. Their brisket sandwich is the best sandwich i have ever had in my life. You just need to try them and you will instantly become a regular! Know you butcher! :)

I'm a food critic, that's big on burgers! This burger shattered my burger list. It beat five guys, it beat in and out, and steak n shake. This burger was the best I have ever head. The service was outstanding, and the burger shattered my records! Definitely go here!!!!

Picked up some fresh stuffed bell peppers and twice baked potatoes today. Price was great and they were AMAZING! Really worth the visit. They have a great selection of local meat prepared daily. Staff is awesome too.

Almost did not go here as it is a butcher shop and we were looking for a lunch spot. Small sign caught our attention for a Saturday Special Burger. BEST BURGER I'VE HAD IN QUITE A WHILE! Friendly staff and good selection of butchered meats. Find it! It's in Lafayette Village.
