A handy convenience store that has produce and meats. Shes not much to look at but with a meat market and some produce the place is a hit. The people there were helpful. I found everything I needed to make cheeseburgers there. They also have and assortment of various goods from snacks and drinks to tools and supplies. I really enjoyed the burgers.

Local store with a meat market inside that sells ground beef, sausage, pork chops etc. Uhaul rentung vans, truvks and trailers are available as well. Very friendly staff, highly recommend

Dropped by Ray's on my way through Moncure a few weeks ago. Low and behold behind the counter was Kevin Stone, the current owner of the store. I did not previously know Kevin, but after a brief conversation I felt like I was talking to Tommy Berryman who owned the store in the early 1970s when I lived in Moncure. Kevin seemed like Tommy incarnated. A delightful personality and a willingness to provide for the customers needs. This is not a run of the mill convenience store. It is a country store that is a great place to get whatever you need. As Tommy Berryman always said 40 years ago, " If I don't have it, your don't need it." Kevin appears to have the same attitude. I am also told that Ray's meat is still "tender as a mother's love."
