Great quality meats and customer service (from the staff). The problems I had were with the manger/owner who lied to me about a specialty meat item. I asked him speficially for a certain cut of meat. Since it was my first time buying the item I trusted what he said, especially since the item was frozen. Needless to say when the meat thawed it wasn't what I had asked for. I was really upset about that. The other problem that I had was when they weighed meats that were frozen. Frozen meats weigh more than fresh meats. I felt a bit taken advantage of as far as how much I was charged compared to what I actually received.

They have the best selection of meat in Winston. Their products is always fresh, and the prices are awesome. If you name it, they probably have it. All of the staff are super friendly and the owners are awesome. I never shop anywhere else for my meat. If you haven't been here, I suggest you give them a try.

My go to for meat for 2 years now. If you get there in the evening it can be pretty packed and might take a while to get to your number but for the most part it moves along quickly. Some of the specials are great and most allow you to substitute one item if needed. But beware the specials sometimes come with certain meat.like the spare ribs in all the specials seem to be pre-frozen,not as fresh and lack the amount of meat that the regular spare ribs ( laying right beside them)do. But if you're getting the special those are the ribs you'll be getting unless you sub for another meat

Love this place! My husband has lived in the area since 1972. His parents have used this meat market. Don't be fooled by the outside. That was a mistake I made and missed a hidden gem right under my nose. Passed it almost every day for years. Finally stopped in and don't regret it for a moment. They have made some great improvements over the years. Meats we've purchased have been fresh and well priced. You get a lot for your money. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Was in today and I know at least four people ask me if I'd been helped ( a young lady was ). They are often busy but work to get you out quickly. Market is clean and well stocked. Keep up the good work and hope to do business with you for many more years.

I decided to go here because on their website said they sell rabbit, and I've been trying to find rabbit meat for a very long time. I went in and the staff were very friendly, they got a few out of the back and let me choose which one. I asked the butcher which one looked the best and he almost immediately pointed out the best one. I'd definitely recommend this place for hard to find meats.

Ogburn Meat Station has been around forever, and for good reason. There is a huge selection of fresh cut meats and other groceries, with butchers on site and lots of help to get customers in and out quickly. Weekends are busy! Even on this Tuesday afternoon there was a lot of business, and people travel to shop there. Excellent variety and many, many packages available at every price point.
