On vacation, came down from Connecticut. This place is wonderful!! From all the homemade jams to their meats.. and of course the most pleasant owners/staff that was there. Would always return here, highly recommending this place.

My husband and I were recently on vacation in Myrtle Beach and this place came highly recommended to us. We called ahead looking for a specific steak cut because the Walmart around the corner didn't have it. He said he didn't have it either but if we wanted to stop in and take a look at what he did have we were more than welcome to. We stopped in and the gentleman behind the counter was very nice and helped us with our selection of meat that we got, he cut it, took the fat off for us and even seasoned it with an in house made seasoning (which was delicious) and even gave us a little to take back to our vacation rental with us in case we wanted more. He made small talk with us while we were there and was very generous and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good meat and great southern hospitality. I will definitely go here again if we come back to the area on vacation!

I bought a pound of ground sirloin, on my first, and definitely last visit. They have a tray with about 25 pounds of ground sirloin, in their display case, covered in saran wrap. You can't really see the meat, but I assumed it would be okay. The next morning, I opened up a package of dried out meat, with plenty of rock hard bits of gristle. Inedible, disgusting, and right in the garbage. Business was slow, so I'm sure they have plenty left, in case you want to see, and feel that disgusting mess, to be sure you never want to trust their meat.
