I visited the store last week and was really impressed with the new product selections that they've brought. I also love their meat selection and the fact that their meats are halal and fresh. Fresh meat is delivered to store twice a week so you know that meat is not old.

Zamzam water kind so expensive Prices moderates based on the area which its close to downtown The Prices of Mediterranean food and middle Eastern kind of need some type of budget But in perspective of earing that food you can pay but always compare your menu with other stores as well There is a lot of kosher HALAL MEAT AS WELL AS THEY HAVE I hope the best of luck to this MUSLIM STORE IN DURHAM.

A very clean place with friendly staff where you can find international products. Their fresh meat is usually brought on Wednesdays. Just ask for your favorite meat even if is not exposed, they have more inside... It is not a big market but I do really recommend.

Do not trust them, they sold me chicken nuggets that expires 5 months ago. The date on best used by section was erased but it was still readable. 4 days later I realized and called them to change it he said he cant change it because 4 days past.

I really enjoyed perusing the selection at Taiba Market. I was really excited about their selection of coffee and teas, and there were many things in the store that looked appealing to me/I want to try. They have a well-rounded selection of staple items, the store is clean, and the people working there are very nice. They also scored major points for being open on Christmas. I'm really looking forward to my next trip and trying more of their products. Great market in a great location.

The beef meat is superior! Very fresh and smells incredibly nice when handled. They also have a variety of authentic mediterranean and middle eastern items from Lebanon, Palestine, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Iraq and other countries.

I have been coming to this shop for over a year on a weekly basis. Today for the first time i had to return a bag of rice because it smelled like raw sewage when boiled. The owner refused to take it back. Him and his wife argued with me for 15 minutes. This is the same brand that i had been buying from them before. Finally i told them that they don't have to take it back, i could just turn it into the health department and see of you are selling tainted rice that could be a public health risk. They finally relented and took it back. I really don't understand why they risked a $16 bag of rice and lose a regular customer who spends over $50 every week. And also refused to accept that this could be a public health issue and they should test that rice.

Whenever I need to cook something with meat I come to this store because their meat counter is always impeccably clean. There is a great selection of spices and pickled foods as well, and everyone who works here is friendly. I love this little local market!

The staff at Al-Taiba is fabulous, very welcoming, and helpful with suggestions. On two separate occasions I have asked about items that they didn’t normally stock. The next time I visited, those items were on the shelf, even though I hadn’t asked for a special order! I love the dairy selections and the two kinds of Syrian bread that they recently started to carry is out of this world. I can’t get enough of it!!
