I have been to this place a few times to get halal meat. The first couple of times my experience was excellent. All I purchased was cubed chicken breast and it was fresh. The last time I went I let the owners know that I was making chicken curry and needed 2 lbs of chicken. He had it bagged off so I didn't see what pieces were in there. When I got home my roommate and mom saw the pieces and they were just the left over pieces of the chicken...honestly I was suppose to make this lunch for my future in-laws but after making it, you could tell that the chicken was just not all that good. My mom made me throw it away so complete waste of $15 and 4 hours of my time. I will continue to go to Al Kareem but will watch them cut the meat. Stuff like this has jaded me from buying halal meat. I almost find non-halal stores to be far more trustworthy which is sad. I will inshaAllah give Al Kareem another chance as in the past their meat has been excellent.

I had a very bad experience yesterday (Monday) , i got a Goat Kheema (Minced meat) it looks and smells like a rotten (& blackish in few parts) and smells really bad. The butcher did gave me already packed meat. Be careful while picking the meat which is already packed. I never had this experience before anywhere. Are you charging 10+$/lb for a rotten meat?

This is the only place where you get first class fresh goat meat. Just call them up and tell what you want and your meat will be cut and kept ready. You may have to wait for quite sometime on Sunday mornings. So it's better to get your stuff on Saturday afternoon.
