My first time at Pino's. I found them online (as I was searching for a great place for fresh meats without having to go to Whole Foods.... ICK!!!). I called to see if they had whole Brisket on hand, and they quickly responded with a "Come on Down". It was there waiting for me when I arrived. Great feel and friendly staff. If you need quality meat, and like service from professionals; don't go to a packed mega store with 20 people behind the counter that collectively don't know or care about their products. Go to Pino's. I know I will.

Not a 100% certain if this is the same place, since it was 20 years ago. I will stop by next time I'm in NYC. I worked at a near-by restaurant that has since closed. The location and storefront appear to be identical. I picked up a 3 inch cut of Filet Mignon that was to die for. My chef was kind to make it for me with fresh Califlower sauted in butter. Truly one of the best meals of my life. It was so tender, was thrown off initially because the cut plumped up when it was cooked. It almost resembled a ball but so delicious.

These guys are the best. I’ve always loved this place due to the people and product. The guys are super warm, professional with some added dry humor, and their recommendations are always the best. I just spoke with them and picking up a couple whole tenderloins at the end of the week, thought they might have to order it in, but they have everything in house. You can’t go wrong with Pino’s - help keep local butchers in business by buying meat here instead of the supermarket!

A truly excellent butcher. Old school italian. Excellent meat. Very friendly staff. You can pick a chicken breast, and they will slice, and tenderize it. Or they will ground you some hamburger. They take orders for the holidays. I once complimented Pino on how excellent his homemade hot dogs were, and he said, "I know." And that is the worse I can say about him :-)
