This is a long time favorite of many locals here. Growing up my Mom's trip to Pellegrini"s always meant we were eating good tonight and using the outdoor grill. While this market is no longer within walking distance, I do make my way back here to treat my husband. They have an excellent choice of meats and prepared dishes to take home as well as a good section of fresh produce too.

Incredibly over priced and terrible quality. This is not a real butcher. It's a deli with a meat display. Much better off taking a trip to Queens.

Pellegrini Meats has great butchers and good quality meat. Unfortunately, I won't be visiting them any longer. On an Amex Small Business Saturday, I asked the cashier, an older women who never smiles or says hello, if I could run the transaction twice to take advantage of a special offer. She scoffed and refused, saying it was impossible. She barely looked me in the eye. That isn't customer service. On top of that, the prices are quite high. For a better deal and better meat, head to Iavarone Brothers on Union Tpke. in the Lake Success shopping center. It's well worth it.

Just had an awesome graduation party thanks to the fantastic "Barbecue" done by Pellegini and our griller/server Jim. The guests were thrilled with the selection and quality of the food at the event and there was plenty of everything. I would definitely recommend using them if you want an awesome offering of delicious food! And the best part was that I didn't have to do anything but entertain my guests. Thanks Pellegrini!

The quality of meat was good. However the person helping me refused to speak English and then joked with others behind the counter in Spanish. I had questions he either didn't want to answer or was unable. I would have purchased more than I did if they had been more helpful. Can't see myself going back there
