Not just pork but a nice little grocery store as well. From fresh pasta to nice size cuts of meat. They also have hot meals to go, great for the single guy or the pear on on the go. The only downside is the location, parking is scarce on the avenue so you may have to park a bit away and walk, but its worth the trip.

Love this place. I always spend more than I intended. Everything you want from a good Italian salumeria. Fresh butcher and cold cuts. My favorites are the fresh mozzarella in olive oil, creamy rice balls, mixed marinated olives, their raviolis and stuffed shells, pesto-marinated boneless chicken wings, fresh basil marinara sauce and their 3 ft. heroes. There's much more there as well. Great customer service from the guys as well. Can't go wrong at this long established store.

Fresh pasta and ravioli! Nice big selection of Italian food in the area. Can't pass by without getting fresh mozzarella cheese balls. It takes orders for parties, you can have sandwich platters, a long hero, and fresh pasta salads and really worth the money. They pack the heroes with meat. The service is great and they recommend specials. Fresh food daily, recipes offered too. They boast about being on the Food Network and wear cute little hats. if you are in a rush they will warm up the food so you can eat as you walk!

Pork smelled like fish in one day of being in my refrigerator the meat was not so fresh maybe laying around for about a week or so. I guess if you are not a regular you will most likely get the old stuff. Big waste of my money.

I used to take the train from Midtown to Brooklyn just to get some rice balls at Landi's. They were so good! Now that Landi's takes orders online and ships them in the US, I decided to order some rice balls last Thursday. The owners are very honest and upfront. I really miss that. When ordering from them, I selected two day delivery, thinking I would get them on Saturday. I then called Landi's and confirmed the order placed online and asked when I should expect them. They told me next week. I asked them why and they told me if they shipped it Friday, it would sit in storage at a UPS place until Monday, since UPS doesn't run on the weekend. Because of that, they ship orders Monday through Wednesday. I am glad they were honest and conscientiousness about it. Now that it was cleared up, I was planning to receive them Wednesday.

A Classic Brooklyn Pork Store. Here you find a good meat market with great sausage that is homemade. There is an amazing deli with huge sandwiches and old fashion prices. The owner John, is a great guy who has been serving his community for years. Stop here once and it will become a regular stop on your shopping adventures. Simply the best.

I placed an order on their website which clearly stated to order by Tuesday for shipment on Wednesday. I ordered on Saturday and when I called to follow up I was told the order wouldn't be processed as the cut off was the prior Friday. This was no clearly stated or even mentioned on their website and they were completely unhelpful and unprofessional about the entire situation. This was an order for my family gathering which was happening in Virginia and I didn't want to carry it all on the plane. Not even an apology. Disgraceful. I wouldn't even give them the one star I am forced to in order to post this.

old school meat market and at least 20 people working behind the counter but the wait is still long.some time they take numbers sometimes they don't but all the time the guys behind the counter bypass the system and take there friends or people who usually tip them first which makes your wait even longer don't get me wrong the meat,hot food and cold cuts are fresh and good but the aggravation of being bypass even though you have been the next customer five customers ago sucks. The food is a 4 but the way they run the place is a zero

I told him I wasn't going to be around Friday when the shipment would arrive. I asked him if he could FedEx them overnight and charge my credit card so I receive them before leaving town. The guy told me he will overnight them to me and cover the cost himself! I have not had that top of the line, professional, superior customer service in a long time! I was so shocked and stoked! Thank you Landi's!!!

I moved to Florida from New York 30 years ago. I still miss the food. I thought for my 50th birthday I'd splurge and have some food shipped to me too celebrate NY style with my friends and family. I called several times in the weeks preceding my order. Everyone I spoke to in every department was so nice and so helpful. It was the day I was supposed to place my order by one o'clock and I got stuck at work until 4. I called and explained the situation and they some how managed to get everything together and shipped so that I would have it for my celebration. I received my order when expected. Everything was packed very well and most things were still frozen when I opened it. The sausage, pinwheel steaks, and cheeses were everything I expected.
