Their ground beef makes really good burgers. It's not much more or at all more expensive than a super market and it's just really good quality product. Everything I've bought there has cooked up amazingly.

Horrible Service. Owner has a nasty attitude. We returned everything we purchased. Meat was rotted in certain areas. I never review places unless there is something to review. Unfortunately, in this case, please please consider your health and the food you are consuming.

Not a Great service, you dont get the meat unless you take the ticket to the bulletproof registration and then come back with the same tickets to get the meat, people make ( bold gay) sorry guy- stupid jokes like, what you think you get the meat free!!!. looks like the are a lot of crime in this area, not wonder why is empty and fish smelly.

Always friendly, always fresh. and always right out of central casting. This butcher is the location used in the film Julie and Julia. They do a huge business in Astoria, and provide the meat for many of the restaurants in the area. If you see something at a great price, with no idea for what you could do with it, the guys behind the counter are quick to give you a suggestion. (They will often ask how you plan to serve whatever you buy, especially when you are specific in how you want them to prep it for you! )

I love these guys. They always give me what I need with great recommendations. Super friendly and no BS. They will even trim and cut up the meat you buy for you. This is an old school butcher shop doing it the way it's been done since forever. FWIW, it smells like a butcher shop too so if the smell of dead animals bothers you, you should check out a health food store or something.

Great local shop with a wide selection of all kinds of meats that you can’t get at a grocery store. They also have a nice selection of dry aged beef (like a steakhouse) which is delicious! They are friendly and extremely helpful in explaining how to cook each cut. They carry some organic meats as well which is a super bonus!

Poor customer service. Didn't clean meat as requested. Offered and did nothing to correct the problem. Stay away from this business.

Used to be my to go place for beef.. however, level of service has declined drastically... person who is at cashier rude as he can be... very intimidating person.... will NEVER GO IN AGAIN.!!!!
