Small place that does get packed after 1 but always a pleasant experience. The staff are always friendly and they have a varied selection of meats. They also revamped their produce section. It's not a full supermarket but you can definitely get some dinner ideas from here.

Not great: ordered lamb and boudin noir. Lamb was very greasy and not very good (probably a 20 years old lamb...) and the boudin noir was also not very good. We are French and know how it is supposed to taste. We should have ordered beef which looked pretty good. Would not recommend.

I love this place!!! I hope it stays in business forever. Amazing cheeses, steaks, lamb chops and sausages. They have everything you could possibly want and it is reasonably priced. The butchers are friendly and knowledgeable. I feel like a kid in a toy store when I'm in here. They also have a great selection of handmade pastas and local canned pasta sauces. Love! Love! Love these guys!!!

The meat looked good and the employees were friendly I had a pleasant experience UNTIL I got home and realized that not only did they give me 1.15lbs more than I had asked for and charged me for it, but they stiffed me on my meat, I had asked for NO bone and they gave me a piece with a GIGANTIC bone cut in half I am very upset and dissapointed. This was my first time coming here because of the good reviews but I won't be back. Furthermore for those of you who haven't been here they cut and package the meat behind the counter so you can't see how much or what pieces of meat you're getting, this place was a HUGE RIP OFF!!!

Paisano's is the reason I can't move out of Brooklyn. I've been trying for 10 years but I can't leave. From antipasto to pasta, to prosciutto to offal and weird meats - this is a one stop shop for me. And the guys are super nice and helpful.

These folks have an incredible selection of BEAUTIFUL meats, with fast and very friendly service. Making the walk down to Paisanos is a great weekend habit of mine, and I highly recommend using them for any kind of BBQ, dinner, etc. you are planning. Highly recommend using their Beef Short Ribs for pasta sauce... they're incredibly tasty.

I ordered a whole big for a special event. I was charged to different prices. I paid it thinking I would be able to come back after my event and clear things up. It did not happen. They are crooks!!! They over charged me about 75.00 dollars. I see all the excellent and very good reviews but they are from the general public. I have experience in the meat market business. I family has 6 meet markets in the early 80s. The food products are good but when meat markets prepare food in advance it to hide the fact the meat was going bad. They make it look good but that is how meat markets extend the life of meat by seasoning it. Supermarkets do exactly the same. Never buy meat that it is prepared in advance. The meat market industry is generally dishonest. Paisanos Meat Markets showed me they are no different. They are crooks!!! Also keep in mind, there are reasons why you cannot see over the counter. It is designed that way. Google how a meat markets cheats its customer. You will see and learn how to protect yourself from Paisanos Meat Market. They are not your friends. They are undercover crooks with smiles. Learn (go on to Google and do your research) how to protect yourself from Paisanos Meat Market!!

I was really impressed by their selection and I was pleased to see thar unlike many other butchers, they are open on Sundays. They have your basics as well as things like venison and wild boar. They also have fresh pasta in the back. The prices were expectedly slightly higher than you'd see at the grocery store, but I found the quality to more than justify any difference - worth it!

They have an INCREDIBLE selection, check the fridges in the back if you don't believe me (hello camel patties!) and the guys say they can get anything....

I came here once and was hooked. I buy all of my meats from here now. Staff is friendly and can answer questions if you are unsure about anything! Tons of meats to choose from as well as a selection of sauces and pasta. They have exotic options like python and rattlesnake. Grab some of the lamb meatballs and make some little sliders out of them, too good. The bacon sliced thick is also phenomenal, they must leave some of the skin on as when I bake it turns into pork cracklin' skin. Amazing. Great selection of pre-marinated and basic meats. Tons of sauces including Peter Luger steak sauce. Prices are also great. I will be coming here even when I move out of this neighborhood.

Well, I went to Paisano's last week and bought San Daniele proscuitto. Either the guys don't know how to store it correctly or they sold me some old hardly edible quality. Of course this is indecent and unacceptable. But moreover it is most unfortunate because this mentality makes people shop in Manhattan and not support local business.

These guys are professionals. They are courteous, helpful, and they have the best selection of meat around. I got a grass-fed T-bone steak from here the other day, and my roommate was like "how is it so tender!?". Great quality meats with a neighborly touch.

I bought a 5lb brisket from Paisano. At $8 and change a lb, it was a deal. I marinated the meat in a dry rub over night. The next day, I sautéed 3 large onions, removed them after cooking, then browned the meat in the same pan. After I added back to the pan, the onions, plus carrots and 8 c of coffee. 3 1/2 hours later after a low slow braise a very delicious and succulent meal was made, cowboy brisket! Paisano also makes damn good hero’s and I often get them to bring to work. I’m partial to mortadella and fresh mozzarella. Paisano is an excellent shop!❤️

Actually haven't been for the raw meat, but for Italian sandwiches they're as good as it gets. All the best imported salumi (prosciutto, capicola, sopressata, etc) with great fresh bread and fresh mozzarella, and all for $10/large sub. Love this place!
