First time in and out with satisfaction! I bought some 6 pound USDA prime bonein ribeye. Friendly staffs and they suggested to give them a call anytime before picking up some meats so that they can make sure they have them in stock. Will come back!

This place reminds me of the old fashion butcher shop that we use to have everywhere years ago.This place has the freshes meats and food you can find. The staff are friendly and are most helpful. I compared their prices against Foodtown and found them to be comprable. I go there at least 3 times a week and I'm never disappointed.Great business.

Great products, great people. The owner Stew is the only real butcher left in the area and it shows. Everything from REAL Japanese Wagyu beef to hamburger meat, and always good prices. This is where you go for quality.

Proper butcher shop...you need things a bit out of the ordinary, they have you covered. Veal bones? "How would you like them cut?". Oxtail? "Do you want the whole tail or trim it a bit?". Chicken liver? "Lower left hand side of freezer".

Stew and the guys here are the best butchers in the old fashioned, tight spot, has everything you need and can answer your questions, sort of way. I've gotten plenty of their beef, chicken and pork bellies here. Special order fillets for Christmas are a standby. Briskets in stock and ready to go. And its all, or mostly, prime grade and cut to your liking. And there's a small amount of vegetables and package goods that go along with the rest of the theme, too. Its right across the street from Count Basie Theater on Monmouth, so the landmark is easy even if the parking makes you walk a whole twenty feet. Good meat. Good place. Get some.
