Best Hungarian butcher in NJ (the only other one in New Brunswick is more expensive and not as good). Good variety of kolbasz (sausage) in spicy and non-spicy varieties. Also carries Hungarian, as well as Polish and Czech newspapers. Oh, and the poppyseed and walnut kalacs (rolled strudel) are the best I've tasted, as good as grandma used to make!

Yesterday at 3pm, I ordered pogacsa and kolbasz from northeast pa which I've not had for some time. By 1 pm the next day, the package arried at my office. Staff was very friendly on the phone, explained the different options, helped out my rusty Hungarian, sent me a huge list of products options that made my mouth drool. Would have awarded 10 stars if it was possible. On a one sentence corporate customer satisfaction question known as NPS - "would you recommend this organization to a friend and family".. I would give a top grade without hesitation. It is rare to find such dedication, competense and customer service - not to mention, the kolbasz was the best I've had, as was the toportyus pogacsa. Went there just yesterday at the closing time. That was my first time at the store and i am definitely coming back. Would give them 10 stars if that was possible. Very good customer service. Family operated business is a huge + . Best kielbasy u can get in the area and i could see that they sell not just hungarian but also slovakian, etc products. Next thing i have to try with this store is a delivery which they also offer.

Small charcuterie shop and deli. Seems totall authentic. Friendly lady behind the counter. I love these pure ethnic food shops. Lots of homemade Hungarian stuff in the refrigerated case.
