I'm suspicious that these guys gouge prices depending on who they are dealing with, as well as slip in non prime meat when they can. The first time I came here I purchased two "prime" steaks. When I got home I found one to be exceptionally marbled and one to have choice levels of marbling. I was disappointed. Today I walked in looking for a skirt steak. They tried to charge me 19.98 per lb for skirt steak.... Yes.... Skirt steak. I paid 25 dollars a lb for dry aged strips from Johns Meat Market... I don't think I'll ever return. I'm sure they're fine with that, as they seem to enjoy an ignorant customer base.

I have been visiting Hind & Fore for a decade. It is the real deal as a full service butcher shop. They sell top quality meats, and they can provide any cut, or lesser used ingredients, such as tripe. Or if you have an extra freezer, you can buy a side of beef for the best value. They carry pie, cheesecakes, ice cream, sauces, and other pantry items. Also, so many kinds of sausages, most are made on site, others from local sources. I once brought a recipe for a Swedish sausage and they made a batch just for me. Now, they carry it routinely - very awesome indeed.

USDA Prime steak where you can taste the difference. Just get a steak or even the ground beef, once you start cooking it you will smell the difference.... when your family eats it, they will be asking for it again for dinner the next day. Really nice staff, fast service, a hidden jewel of Bridgewater.

All the meats i've tried are phenomenal. Great service too. Ashamed to say i've lived in Bridgewater all my life and didnt find this place until about a year ago. I've been back 15-20 times since. Best steaks you'll find. Cant recommend enough!
