Awesome food, great selection and all fresh. Definitely check out the sandwiches or order them for pick up before 3 PM. We bought the stuffed pork chop and it was delicious. The kielbasa snacks were amazing and the kraut with kielbasa was delicious. So much more to try out, only day it is closed is Sunday. Great place to buy dinner and have a sandwich at. Plenty of desserts as well.

Incredible meats and salads to take away.We had a sandwich for lunch-veggie pannini for me, which was amazing ! I love the eggplant and fresh mozzarella. And my father enjoyed liverwurst on rye. Both came with delicious chips and a pickle-reasonable price and way too much to eat ! Always a treat when I'm in the area !

Have shopped there for 15 years. You are known to have a very large selection of German cold cuts and specialties preferred by old customers. The last two times we bought our favorite sausages we noticed a difference in flavor, more an absence of flavor. Perhaps some newer customers don't like the original spices that are used in the art of German sausage making. Or those spices have become too costly. It will keep us from buying Wieners, Frankfurters, Jagdwurst and Liverwurst. The smoked flavor is also missing. My friends now shop in Union County. The difference is remarkable. What we still like is your homemade Salami. It is still excellent. Will things change? G. T.

Large selection of meats and butchery but staff and made to order food is lacking completely. The staff isn't helpful unless you're a regular and the made to order food is really just not good. The only reason this place is so popular is because there's no other competition in the area. Go if you have too get some specialty meat, but don't stay too long.

My favorite place for lunch ever. If I could pick one place to eat lunch in the entire country this would be the place (and I've lived all over the country). Excellent. Try them out, you won't be disappointed. When I was expecting my last child I'd nearly cry (ok, maybe once I really did cry) when my husband would surprise me with a sandwich from the German Butcher :-) This place is what food cravings are made of!! Hands down my favorite butcher shop in the area. Their meat is quality, and not that much more expensive than you could find in a grocery store. Their brine pork chops are simply out of this world. There's also a dine-in area, which can get a little crowded - but that's honestly just because of how great their food is!

This is an awesome shop!! Not only is it really pretty and unique, the food is exceptional and they carry cuts of meat I’ve been unable to find elsewhere. We just moved to the area and started shopping here a few months ago, but I’ve always been so impressed with it. Today I unwrapped meat I bought Friday and a portion of it didn’t look good. Initially I threw it out but then I called just to see if there was anything we could do to maybe replace the product. The guy I talked to was so nice, calm, and accommodating, but also explained what had likely caused the issue and offered me my choice of replacement or store credit. I was really happy with the way the issue was resolved and the professionalism of the person I spoke with. I have absolutely no negative comments for this butcher and recommend it every chance I get!

Delicious, fresh meats and food along with amazing service make the German Butcher the best butcher in the area. Their cold cuts are great for lunches and their flat iron steaks with dry rub on the grill makes for a savory dinner. If you're hungry when you go, they also have an eatery. The eatery is open 7am to 3pm but the rest of the store is open from 9am to 6pm.

Awesome place for good quality meats, sides and breads, so if you're going to grill out it's by far the best place to stop in the area. They even have a small, but good quality selection of seafood (scallops & shrimp my last visit). You can also grab a bite to eat there which has always been good too.

Always have a good time here. Food is always fresh. I got some Landeager it a type of beef stick but it was overly spiced this time with liquid smoke very disappointed. Although this is the first time so I'll call the store tomorrow and see if they have any recommendations.

Excellent sandwiches! We had the Italian pork and the roast beef panini. They were delicious. The brown gravy on the Italian pork sandwich was so good I could have licked the plate clean. The selection of pre-made foods was very impressive and let's not forget the fresh breads cooked daily. I got few items from the butcher shop section that I am looking forward to trying over the next couple of days.

Took my dad there today for lunch. We both had the Reuben Panini (I also ordered a jalapeno hot dog just cause I had to). My only minor gripe is as I've read. If you've never been there and you walk in to eat there, you have no idea what the procedure is to order food. Long story short, they are busy and that's a good thing. BUT, there should either be a sign on the table saying "order at the counter, OR an "ORDER HERE FIRST" sign as no waitress ever comes to the table. I had to ask a passing person how it works. THAT being said, our sandwiches were very good. I wish I had more time (and hunger) to try the Weiner Schnitzel. All of their other meats and cheeses looked very good, as I've heard. Good time and Good food just the same. I will be back again !!
