Visited the store and found the jowl and pig cheek. The guys are very knowledgeable and meat are super fresh. I can't wait to taste. So glad it is in south end!

Welcome to the neighborhood! This place is welcoming and sources local meats. If you want something in particular you can even call and request it. I'm excited they are in the South End!

We are thinking of joining the share program and want to try the meat first, so took the 45 mile trip this morning to South Boston and visited the butcher shop. We bought quite a bit and had the best beef jerky we ever had on our way home. Haven't cooked up any of the meat yet, but we are excited! The "guys" in the shop were very helpful and knowledgeable. I have been a vegetarian since March for the simple reason I don't want to participate in the industrial farming/slaughter of unhealthy animals. I had beef today and am looking forward to trying the chicken.
