we have been twice this second week of September 2014. we would never recommend joe's or go back there. It must be the end of the season rude waitstaff week. three behind the sandwich counter girls were so rude and flip with us and another female customer. they snapped and snickered at us. we did notice. several other soon to be ex-patrons also noticed. AND!!! we agreed ANYONE can make a simple sandwich or pour a cup of soup, BUT IT TAKES REAL TALENT TO BE SO LOW LEVEL WITH THE PUBLIC. BYE.

I've been going to Joe's for 19 years. Still the same quality if not better. Very friendly staff, great daily specials, awesome sandwiches with generous portions, delicious soups to warm your bones in the winter. In addition, they have a fantastic butcher shop and deli, great for grilling and entertaining guests in the summer. They deliver locally for a small fee. And they cater if you have an event. What else can you ask for?

I went to Joe's for a lunchtime sandwich/sub based on a recommendation and wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised, they were doing a great lunchtime trade and their busy team were working hard to fulfill all the orders. The roast beef sub I had was really good. I really got the impression that this is the kind of place people come back to again and again. I certainly plan to return!

I come here when I work in the area, best sandwiches for lunch. I recommend the Ruben and the brisket sandwiches. Sandwiches are large, and enough to satiate my hunger til dinner. Friendly staff and quick service!

Quite simply the best subs. Period. A real sub with the best ingredients. Forget about the place you go to that goes you 4 slices of meat. They have samples available while you wait. I go to Joe's for lunch whenever I can.

Extremely friendly staff that is very attentive towards customers. Many options on sandwiches and grocery items that expand this meat market beyond just cuts of steak and chicken. There are other special cuts and marinades available as well. Also a large selection of drinks such as beer, wine, soda, juice, teas and other options.

For lunch however you got great variety, all kinds of specials, fixings, meats, veggies, chips drinks, and pretty much anything you need for a great lunch! First time going in today. Cool little spot with some fun things for sale to discover. It was my wife’s night out with some friends which meant I needed hunt and gather food for my spawn. I ordered a turkey and cheese with veggies for the kids and a pastrami sandwich for myself. Jen, the owner, took my order and constructed my sandwiches. My kids devoured their subs so they had to have been good (picky eaters) and my pastrami sub was LOADED with delicious salted meat and spicy mustard. There was so much meat in this thing, I couldn’t close it - which might sound like I’m complaining, but I’m not! Next time I come back, I’m getting the same thing AND an m&m cookie because I like to treat myself.

We often stop here to pick up sandwiches on our trips to the beach. Nice sandwiches! Would have liked some mortadella in the Italian but the roast beef and chicken salad were top notch. Only one small toilet for everyone in the back, but it was clean. Recommended.

Old fashioned store serves the best soups and sandwiches around. They also have their own deli counter and small market. Place is very busy at lunch time, but they move you right along. Absolutely a gem of a place and highly recommended!!!
