I purchased a 5 pound boneless ribeye roast to make for my wife’s birthday. I slow roasted it over 5 hours so it was medium rare, then crisped the outside for 30 minutes at 500f. As my wife and daughter said, “it was as good as a top tier restaurant.” While it was expensive it was worth every penny. Thank you for the fantastic cut of meat. We’ll definitely be buying from you again.

The Butcher Block got what you need. If you want it and they ain't got it, they'll cut it, or order it up and get it for ya! Went for a Prime Rib Roast. There was questions about inventory and they came out from the back and had the customer in mind. Go see Lenny and crew, best service in town!

Best cuts of meat in town! Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We used to go across town to the other locations. Delighted to have the butcher block in Henderson! Try the Wagu steaks. You won't be disappointed.

This is THE place to get steaks. The 1855 brand is amazing. I can honestly say that they are the best steaks in Las Vegas. Do yourself a favor and try the Waygu beef also. We pit a Waygu Tri-Tip in the Sous Vide and were floored by the flavor and tenderness.

Dec 22, 2018. I went to pick up an order for Christmas I had placed several weeks ago. Not only was it not ready but when I got it, it was wrong. Ordered 15 veal chops about 1/4" thick, what I got was paper thin. Ordered 15, guy showed me what he had when he got to 10 pcs. That was after I waited in line for an hour to pick up my order. I needed to leave so I told him that the pieces were way too thin but I'll try to work with it, but to cut me 2 more, a little thicker. He said ok, total of 12 veal cutlets. Unfortunately, when I got them home, I had 11. All paper thin. Check out was a fiasco as well, the lady got all upset with me, threw up her hands and walked away when I pointed out that she didn't deduct my $20 deposit I paid when I ordered this meat weeks ago. Their meats are great quality, but this is the second time I've ordered from them and they got it wrong. Also, they're not equipped to handle a holiday rush, they definitely need a better system. I'll have to find another butcher for special orders. Really disappointed and stressing out about my holiday meal. In retrospect, I should've told him to keep it all and gone on my way.

Best butcher in Vegas. The steaks are of course great. Their Choice grade is excellent if you're feeding a big group, and the Prime grade is the same stuff restaurants charge $60+ for. But don't overlook the stuffed mushrooms, sausages, seafood, and BBQ marinated burger meat.

We recently moved into the Henderson area from England, and as much as we love American food, we miss the sausages and bacon from England. We visited "Butcher Block" on Saturday and asked whether they could provide either. They do, although they didn't have either that day in the Henderson store. I went back today and bought some freshly made on site "British Bangers", which we had for dinner tonight. They were really really good, just like really good quality sausages back in England. They don't smoke or cure the British back Bacon on site, but have it delivered in, with the next delivery due next week. I'll do another review on the British Bacon when we try it. Over the past couple of days I spoke with 3 staff members in person and on the phone at the Henderson location, and they could not have been nicer or more helpful. We have deffinately found a great local provider of good quality meats, and if you crave British style sausages, we can highly recommend "British Bangers" from the Butcher Block in Henderson.

As a Brit living in Las Vegas, this shop is my saving grace. Without decent bacon or meaty sausages, I was destined to die an early death of probable mutation from all the rubbish the shop-bought sausages available. Knowledgeable staff, accommodating, kind. Well priced and great selection. Runs like a typical butcher's shop in England- just like Grandad used to have. Bravo.

I was there and had to buy a frozen slab of ribs and had to defrost. I thought everything would be fresh and ready to cook. That would not fly in the Midwest. Selections are good but the staff is not friendly and I go there a lot. Only shop in the area unfortunately.
