Just the most bestest butcher shop here in Reno. Everyone here is so helpful in finding products and even if you have questions or need suggestions for cooking various dishes. My Labrador makes sure to remind me to search out for him some marrow bones, and then the ones that are not safe for him to eat I make bone broth out of. They have various cuts of gorgeous Wagyu beef, just ask if you don't want to spend $30 for one huge ribeye. I got a fantastic looking chuck roast for $17 that I know is going to cook up just as glorious as a ribeye.

Love this place! Check the freezer for hidden game meat gems! House made sausages are the best. Found a whole pheasant here! Service is second to none. Happy your close to home.

Absolutely the best meat and butcher counter in Reno. This time I went for the Basque chorizo sausage all made right on premises.Cooked slow and low on the Traeger then cut up and served as appetizers is an unexpected crowd pleaser. Steaks are so tender last time we got the New Yorks.

It's damn good to have Butcher Boy back in town. This is a legit, authentic butcher shop with butchers who know their cuts, their seasonings, and their craft. Ask them how to cook the cuts and ask for suggestions.

Great cuts of meat,fresh and best assortment in Reno area. Challenge anyone to find such a variety of Veal cuts within the state of Nevada or even California. Ownership and staff are A#1.

Paid $8 A pound for "Applewood" smoked bacon. The printed on the label even says "Applewood". What they gave me was un smoked. Threw it in the pan and I could tell by the smell that it is un smoked.
