Disappointed you could not get goat meat, but "oh well" I like the service more than anything. They all seem to enjoy their work and when the customers come in it creates a neighborlike buzz. ..for a vegan.....not so much.

My go to meat shop! Great customer service, wonderful meats. Their marinated meats are the best around. Won't do meat processing of wild game but if you take your processed meat in , they will make anything you request such as their wonderful brats!

The cut and quality of their meat makes me look like an amazing cook, when in all actuality I'm not..."We purchased some ribs from there. I put some barbecue sauce on them, covered them with tinfoil and baked them for 4hrs. @ 275...They were fall off the bone delicious, honestly!! And it was all because of the quality of meat." Also, we did a project for them the beginning of the year, and we made sure we had enough cash everyday to get their jalapeno&cheddar meat sticks..They are delicious. They're not hot! Very Gary and Nancy were very easy to work with.

Freezer burned! I bought a 4 pound skirt steak today. I was told all they had was frozen. I was skeptical but went ahead and bought it. I thawed it out in the fridge same day. Late that night i went to trim it and it was grey and disgusting. I trimmed all the grey off which weighed 1 pound 11 oz and will try and make the best of what's left. It cost $ 8.99 a pound. A $ 36 lesson I wont forget. I live in Belfry so can't just turn around and return it.

Every year we get corned beef from this place. Every year it's amazing. We used to get the packaged stuff from the grocery store, but we'll never go back. In addition these guys have the absolute best bratwursts in town. Highly recommend the Meat and Poultry Palace. Before you go, be sure you have cash or a check, they don't take cards.
