Exceptional service, cleanliness and fantastic meat. Local meat. Have chicken, beef, pork, smoked turkey, smoked ham, best bacon, shaped hamburgers, pick your steak, roasts, make their own sausage. Family owned, family run and I can't say enough good about them. Take cash or check--no debit or credit cards. Also take SNAP cards. Awesome bunch of people.

Where to start. I hated steak growing up. Wasn't until I was 29 and had a new york strip from here I finally understood what a good steak was. Their beef jerky is the best I've had - especially the spicey mix. I brought a pound into work and it was gone within an hour, and brought multiple people to the shop. I've not even mentioned the fact that their stuffed porkchops are an insanely good value, or their diamond bar german style sausages...if you want a legit butcher, this is absolutely the spot in Missoula.

I bought beef jerky that molded the next day. I was NEVER told their jerky had special rules. Normal jerky does fine in a bread box on my counter. They explained the difference between their BEEF STRIPS and jerky. I now know thier beef strips must be refrigerated.

Shop is clean and has quite an array of beef and pork & we won a half of beef. They helped us pick the cuts and how much of each we should get but it must have been a young cow because all the meat,,,!!! Is Tough steaks are small T bones, rib steak, the roasts are very tough we are great full for winning the beef just wish we could enjoy eating it....
