WOW! Ol' Hickory is excellent all the samples were tasty! I got the candied burnt ends, my son got the brisket, now I make my own potato salad & coleslaw because it's hard to find the way we like it NOT ANYMORE ! They have the BEST in the whole town! We liked OL'Hickory so much we walked out with summer sausage, salami. Oh & Will is a SWEETHEART! Thanks for the great service.

Love this place!!! Great food, I love the coleslaw.... the staff is awesome. They go above and beyond... you can sample anything that they have... their smoked chicken salad is to die for... definitely will continue to come here and support a local business... I could go on and on about this place... just check it out for yourself...

I can't say enough about this place. It's hard to find quality meat around here, that isn't already frozen, so, for me, this is my go-to. I'm from Dallas, and we have tons of places like this, but living here I cannot say enough how hard it's been to find great places. I have one. Lol

Best place ever. Everything is wonderful. BBQ, hummus, cheeses, dry rubs, t shirts, they have it all. Staff is super friendly and they have a ton of samples to try. Prices aren't much higher than a normal grocery store. And this hickory smoked cheddar spread is just the most amazing stuff.

We tried some brisket and some pull pork , both of them was delicious but in my opinion I really loved the pull pork.. We also bought some Cole slaw and broccoli pasta salad oh my gosh I haven't had salad like that in a very long time...Thank you for some great food....

Love it here! I am so happy a butcher like this is finally in Joplin and I can't wait to try their dry aged meat! They smoke meats here and make their own sausage and even homemade sides! They're always trying to do new things so it's exciting every visit!

Super friendly staff, free samples before you buy. Ordered brisket, candied burnt ends, coleslaw and potato salad all of them were amazing just as good as anything you can home make. Deffenently will be going back again. I reccomend to everyone who loves great smoked meat and sides.

Prime cut meats and all the trimmins and fixins in one place! I went in right after Christmas to pick up some House bacon and they were all out. The man behind the counter said they will have more in at the beginning of the year so I tried out some samples and picked up a package of beef sticks. The beef sticks were so fresh and I am going to go back and pick up some buffalo chicken dip. They also have fresh brewed tea that you can sample which is a great palate cleanser between samples :). I give him a five-star everything I went in there to buy and a week ago has been excellent more than excellent. They do have the meat and I guarantee you once you go there you will go back. They do have cook stuff ready to to go the bratwurst were excellent.
