The July 4 parking lot pig-out was great. It is just the two of us and we enjoy celebrating the summer with a cookout, but neither one of us likes cooking. The smoked ribs, chicken, and beans from Hoss's are so much better than bbq over coals in the back yard.

Hoss's Market & Rotisserie catered my son's high school graduation party for approximately 40 people. They provided the set up and tear down of the food and it was WONDERFUL! We've eaten at the Market several times and had their food at Mizzou functions and it's always been great! Trish made everything so easy and we will definitely use them again for future events! The food was DELICIOUS and the staff is wonderful! Highly recommend!!!

Always a great experience. Eat in or carry out. Great barbeque, chicken cordon bleu, pot roast and sandwiches. You can even buy Lakota coffee here too. Nice selection of wines, however they need to carry more Missouri wines. It's also a market too, nice selection of sauces, dips and chips. One of my favorite places to eat in CoMo.

Wow! What a great place for a small get together of a bunch of friends from out of town. Wonderfully flavored, high quality food in a neighborhood market setting. Highly recommended for tailgating supplies or a post game celebration of a Mizzou victory.

Hoss's is Columbia's best restaurant for eat-in or take-out. I especially like the Prime Rib they have every Friday. And their Carrot Cake is heavenly. All their meats are high-quality and perfectly cooked. Servings are large ...I usually get two meals out of one dinner.

I've always loved Hoss's since the first time I ate here a year ago. I'll admit, I've been here more than 5 years but didn't know about this treasure until living near it. Recently now they've started delivering. Thankfully I still live within walking distance ;). Excellent food! My favorite of all are the burgers (real beef <3) and the desserts are exquisitely rich and delicious. Anything you go with at Hoss's you'll be happy with. Get on that BBQ & Smoked! YEAH!

My family LOVES the brisket - every time we get it, they say it is better than before. Also love the grab and go dinners and wine selection. My office uses Hoss' Market for catering. The food is, without fail the best quality and always delicious. It doesn't matter what item we choose from the menu, it is simply amazing. The staff is always efficient, friendly and kind. Five stars does not seem enough! Do not hesitate to frequent this establishment.

I went in for an interview hoping to get a job as a line cook. That's what I put my application in for anyway. These people were the most smug, self righteous employers I've ever seen. They treated me like a second class citizen. I'll admit, my job skills aren't the MOST valuable in the world by any means hut, how condescending is it to ask someone if they knew the doctor who's toilet they scrubbed and could use them as a professional reference? To make matters worse, they called me in for a position I never applied for. I'm sorry I wasn't good enough to scrub your floors or stock your shelves. Hey, a tip for you, make sure your floors are at least clean before you act high and mighty. Thank GOD you didn't hire me. I don't think I could look at those smug smirks everyday. I may be a recovering alcoholic with few valuable job skills but, at least I know how to treat people with respect. GO KEWPIES!

You walk in,,read the "special board" and the their extensive list of sandwiches available to choose from then put your order in. Everything we ordered was very good and brought to our table. The lemon/berry cake was exceptionally delicious!! We will eat there again for sure. Nice waitress, great personality!

Honestly the food is great but we ordered the brisket and our portions were so small we laughed. We did NOT get full. The kid serving gave us 4 tiny, thin slices. I guess when you order BBQ from someone named "Hoss" you just assume you're going to get full. Not the case here. Definitely overpaid for the tiny amount of food we got.

Great place to grab high quality takeout. Recommend the Cobb Salad, Meatloaf on Wednesday, and Yankee Pot Roast on Thursdays. You can't go wrong with any choice though. Nice store for browsing as well.

I love this place because it's like home cooking ready to pick up when you want to eat. They have a great selection of hot entrees, sandwiches and salads. Their soups are some of the best in town. If they have it, definitely try the potato-habanero soup. It's a spicy winner, worth driving across town for.
