Huge place! Lots of neat scenes, displays, and animals to see even if you aren't shopping for outdoor equipment. Has several museums. The main museum and aquarium together cost $39 per person which is the only option to get in.

A great place to visit for the outdoors person. Taxidermy exhibits everywhere, gear for all your needs in a fantastic environment. The national small arms museum and the archery hall of fame are true gems to visit. Don't miss the Teddy Roosevelt section. Live ducks, fish and even alligators!

We went Monday afternoon with my 5 grandchildren just to look around and possibly go to the aquarium. We got side tracked by a gentleman with a beautiful dog and a young lady with a sweet puppy we were petting both and a security guard comes and very rudely tells the young lady that she can' sell that dog in here at no point was she trying to sell the dog he didn't tell the man that only the woman. I asked how old ext and asked if she had others if so how much that was the extent of the conversation she didn't approach me about selling I asked her questions. Then he proceeds to mean mug me from across the room. Needless to say I took my money and left.

This is a review of Bass Pro Shops, not the World of Wildlife Museum. The store has multiple, oversized, fresh water aquariums and waterfalls, that appear to be natural-looking pools. Stairs and elevators allow patrons to view fish, and sometimes ducks, from above or under water. Taxidermied animals from all over the world are positioned in woodland settings around this massive facility. The pools, rocks, animals, and trees hanging with moss, are a backdrop for Bass Pro’s huge inventory of boats, tents, guns, and other sporting equipment. Hemingway’s seafood restaurant is located on the third floor of the main facility. Bass Pro is about a city block long, so give yourself time, and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Amazing store! But they didn't have a damned thing I was looking for. All firearm related, but they didn't even have the very common items I was looking for. No magazine, no holster, no gunsmith that was cool. I won't go back. Not how they seemed do incompetent and lack of common items. Disappointed.

Wonderful experience! Friendly staff, beautiful building, stunning interior, lots of fun things to keep kids occupied, and just a fun time! They have all sorts of interesting animals to look at, they have beautiful setups and paintings! Clothing, food, knives, and all sorts of things hunting related. You can walk around for hours and hours enjoying all the different things! Trust me, I have.

Awesome place to go, yes, they have great deals on multiple products..... But its so much more. Its like a zoo and a museum had a baby in an outdoor superstore.........and that baby's room has a park in the corner. Plan at least a 4 hour stay...........and you still won't see it all. The guys at the gun range were great, very helpful. On the other hand I kept waiting for the knife sharpener to get back from a break, never happened. And my wife found nobody interested in helping her with laser sites in the firearms section. Not a great experience.

They have decent products. However you will feel like you are at a festival or amusement attraction. And they want you to sign up for cabin retreat. If you can avoid that and the huge number of people then it'd fun. They have live fish aquariums. Be prepared to spend some money.

The restaurant was very good, worth the wait. Our waitress was great and she put up with us! We had the lunch buffet and it had a Lot and was very good. We were very happy with the restaurant. There is only one bathroom and it is in the middle of the building. Very large building and was unhappy about that. The staff was very friendly. Very well stocked. Prices are kind of high, but reasonable.

This is an awesome place they have everything you need for any outdoor activity. There's an indoor gun range that you can sight your gun. Plenty of things for camping fishing smoking dehydrating plus there's lots of wildlife to look at. The staff is very helpful in finding the things that you need for your outdoor adventure. The prices are really good and there is plenty of items to choose from. The store is very clean very well organized and just an overall great place to shop.

What can't I say about this bass pro. I'm from California I visit my dad every year in Missouri we always go to this Bass Pro is everything and more. I really enjoyed the new edition the aquarium. My dad loves to fish so we always have to stop by and grab a couple lures and maybe a shirt or two. But highly recommend anybody visiting the area to go Bass Pro

Had another wonderful experience at Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium, until I had a run-in with Michael, one of the staff at the stingray exhibit. After spending $12 on feeding the stingrays I continued to stick my hand in the water and pet them. Next thing I know Michael is yelling at me from 30 feet away (similar to a lifeguard yelling at a kid running at a pool) to get my hand out of the water or he was going to kick me out of the place. I was doing, as instructed by the WOW lady who sold the minnows to me, and do not believe I was doing anything wrong. If I was, though, the professional and adult thing to do would have been to walk up to me and explain what the issue was....not to make a scene to embarrass me and my family. I hope this post is viewed by management and that they provide better customer interaction training for their staff or reprimand staff that is not acting in accordance to WOW's code of conduct.

Bass Pro is a great place for so much! From the boats to the fishing equipment to the clothes. All is great. We spent over an hour just walking around and looking. A little disappointed that it was so expensive to see the aquarium. Would have liked to seen that.

Holy smokes I was NOT expecting such wonderful surprise! I hadn't been there in years so I just expected the store. I honestly just went so my husband could see the main Bass Pro Shop but it was soooooo much more. We saw fantastic museums that were engaging to the eyes and ears. As a Floridian, I unfairly compare all theme parks and entertainment to ours and I must say that the attention Bass Pro gave to detail was on a 'Disney' level! The ticket is close to a Disney cost but definitely well worth it. The aquarium is simply incredible and seemingly unending! It was an all day event and we didn't see everything! Top notch!

Bass pro as a whole I have always enjoyed. I went in on 8/10 to purchase a browning 725 shotgun and while looking at them the employee working the fine gun room was assisting another customer.he had a semiautomatic hand gun,pointed it !t the ceiling and pulled /he trigger. The gun fired shooting a hole in the cieling.afterward he ejected the clip and started unloading the shells from it.i was approximately 5 ft from him when when this happened. Myself being a hunter safety instructor and being taught from childhood to always check to se if a gun is loaded before handling it. Needless to say it got the blood pumping.i understand that mistakes can happen , but there is no excuse for gun safety.

I would give it 5 stars until the end of the night. After having a ton of fun going and seeing the museum's and the aquarium. We even had a great dinner at Hemingway's which I would say was amazing! HERE IS THE REASON WHY I GAVE IT ONE STAR! WOULD GIVE IT 0 IF I COULD. WE DECIDED THAT WE WOULD NOW DO OUR SHOPPING. WE WENT TO THE GUN COUNTER TO POTENTIALLY MAKE A PURCHASE IF WE LIKED HOW IT FELT. AFTER WALKING UP TO THE COUNTER AT 8:00P.M. ON MONDAY JULY 8 2019 THE MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER WAS FINISHING WITH THE MAN NEXT TO US. AT THIS POINT WE HAD BEEN STANDING THERE FOR ABOUT A MINUTE. THE MAN DIDN'T EVEN LOOK OVER AT US HE IMMEDIATELY STARTED HELPING A OLDER MAN AND A YOUNGER KID. THEY HADN'T EVEN MADE IT TO THE COUNTER YET! SO WE CONTINUED TO WAIT. THE WORKER AND THE TWO MEN BEGAN TELLING STORIES. DURING THIS TIME TWO OTHER MEN WALKED UP TO THE COUNTER AND WERE LOOKING AS WELL. THERE WERE TWO EMPLOYEE STANDING OUT TALKING WHEN ONE OF THEM CAME BEHIND THE COUNTER TO BEGIN HELPING. ONCE HE STEPPED BEHIND THE COUNTER HE BEGAN HELPING ONE OF THE GENTLEMEN STANDING DOWN FROM US. WE WERE ONCE AGAIN SKIPPED. ONCE THAT EMPLOYEE FINISHED WITH HIM WE WERE THE LAST ONE STANDING THERE HE CAME OVER AND HELPED. HE HAD A BAD ATTITUDE LIKE WE WERE INTERRUPTING HIM. MY FIANCE ASKED TO SEE A GUN. HE GAVE IT TO HIM AND HE WAS ASKING QUESTIONS. THE MAN BEHIND THE COUNTER ANSWERED WITH SHORTEST ANSWERS POSSIBLE AND WITH AN ATTITUDE AS IF, "ARE YOU DOING HERE" ATTITUDE. HE ASKED TO FIRE THE GUN WITH A SNAP CAP. THE EMPLOYEE SAID YS BUT HAD TO GO TO THIS ROOM TO FIRE WHICH WAS FINE. WHILE MY FIANCE IS FIRING INTO THIS BLOCK. I AM STANDING BACK JUST WATCHING. THE MAN ROLLED HIS EYES AT HIM 3 DIFFERENT TIMES DURING THIS TIME. AT THAT POINT I WAS ANGRY AND REALIZED THAT IT WAS A COMPLETE RACIEST MOVE. MY FIANCE IS MEXICAN AND ITALIAN BUT REALIZED JUST WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. NEITHER MEN BEHIND THE COUNTER WANTED TO HELP US BECAUSE OF THE FACT HE WAS NOT WHITE. SINCE EVERY TIME WE GOT SKIPPED IT WAS TO HELP A WHITE PERSON AND THEY WERE WHITE. I AM WHITE AND HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED THE RACISM THAT CAME ACROSS!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT BEHAVIOR THAT WE ENCOUNTER OR THAT I EVER EXPERIENCE WITH HIM. THEIR ACTIONS DEFINITELY CAME ACROSS LOUD AND CLEAR. SO WE DID NOT MAKE THE PURCHASE AND I BELIEVE I AM DONE EVER SHOPPING THERE AND WILL BE PASSING THE WORD TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. THIS WAS THE HOME BASE FOR BASS PRO SHOPS BUT I SEE THAT THIS BEHAVIOR IS CONDONED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT STOPPED AND HAS HAPPENED.

A+ on attractiveness of the store D on employee customer service, most of the time it seems as if an employee has a chip on their shoulder or something is bothering them. I grew up in this area and I have watched Bass Pro grow from a mom n pop place to the giant business it is today! The original store had grown and expanded so much and there were so many new things to look at! Even if you do not hunt, fish or even go outside, you should definitely take time to walk slowly through if you're ever close enough to the Original. I guarantee you will be wowed!

Bass pro has something for everyone!! The aquarium, wildlife museum, shopping, gun museum and shop, hunting area, food, and more. You could spend all day here and still not see everything they have to offer. Although some of their merchandise could use a trim on pricing, I love bringing my family here. Helpful hint, if you’re coming for the aquarium, park around the back side of Bass Pro where the aquarium entrance is!! If you’re here for anything else, use the main bass pro entrance.

Soooo neat! This is one of the best Bass Pro Shops I have been to! There is a little museum of the history of Bass Pro Shops as well as an NRA gun museum with some fantastic displays. There are aquariums all over the store and live fowl swimming around the ponds. We could have easily spent another hour in here and still not seen everything. Give it a visit! Admission to the actual Aquarium does cost extra.

Going to Bass Pro is always a blast. We can easily spend 5-6 hours in this store, when you add in the aquarium and the museum. The aquarium and museum are so beautiful. The aquarium and museum are both wheelchair accessible, making it fun for all families. Bass Pro is also wheelchair accessible. There are a lot of cool things to buy, especially if you're an outdoorsy family! If you pay to go to the aquarium, and can afford it, pay for the season pass because you'll want to go more than once!

One of the highlights of Springfield Missouri. The store is large and has everything a camper, hunter, or outdoorsman could want. There is an awesome gun and archery museum that can entertain you for hours. There are huge fish tanks in several areas of the store with a large variety of fish. The atmosphere and decorations in the store are second to none. Once you're done with the store there is a world class aquarium that is second to none. It's better than most zoo's!

Amazing way to spend an afternoon. The fish feeding show was very educational and entertaining. The exhibits throughout the store are amazing. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The fact that it's pet friendly makes it a must see for every traveler in town!!!!

Much larger than you would think. So much to see. Kept my two year old occupied the entire time. Totally worth the money. Great place to make some wonderful memories!! Definitely coming back when the little one is older!

My family and I went here for my birthday back in October 2018. We did the Wonders of Wildlife exhibit that is connected to the store. We didn't really look around because we just weren't interested in the outdoorsy stuff.

This is you usual Bass Pro Shops times about 20 in size. You could spend 2 days seeing everything and it would be worth it. The attention to detail is incredible... stairway ballsters to the gun museum are antique rifles. Unless you look closely, many things just blend in they are done so well. What an amazing place. We drove up from Dallas and it was worth the drive.

Loved the Aquarium. A bit of a steep admission price. But JUST the Aquarium took me solo , 2 hours to walk through the place. Very big and very well constructed for the entertainment factor. Kid friendly!

Bad experience when you go in looking for a item and talk to a employee that tells you this one same brand just not same color will be the same price. then get up to the counter to pay to find out that that is not true and can’t get a item for the Sale price . People need to be on the same page. Love this store always shop here but when you get misinformed on a item you wanted then informed it’s been out for weeks .

Huge, massive, extravagant such a beautiful store. We will definitely have to make a trip back here. You need a half day just to take it all in really. Museums, an aquarium, cafe, coffee shop and so much more. I needed lots more time! Several live fish and aquatic animals to see. Live catch and release pond for the kids. Definitely a place to enjoy and shop.

Great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. There is even a shooting range where you can practice your skills, or even improve them. The alligators were amazing and there were a lot of them all crowded together. Lots to see & do in this place. Even went to the aquarium and bought a stuffed penguin. It was really soft & so cute. There was no way I could resist him. Plus Gus the huge 400 pound fish was fun to see. He seemed to be posing for the camera. Great day!!!

Awesome place to stop if you’re passing through! Tons of free activities for the entire family to enjoy! Tons of history available! We really enjoyed walking through the race car museum. Again, all free! There are paid portions but we didn’t really have time to do those. The aquarium looks awesome, the lobby area is free to enjoy which has a bunch of stuff to look at. We purchased some t-shirts for like $5, along with a few other inexpensive items. Lots of shopping to do!

I'm not into hunting but i have to say there's so much to see here. Had dinner at the restuarant buffet style. Food was good service as well. Great place to take your children.

Wow! Just wow! If you get the opportunity to visit the aquarium.....do it! Well worth the money. The kids will love it as there is Stingray "petting" along with an opportunity to dive with sharks and touch anemones! There are AAA discounts and military discounts to get in.

This city is the location of the first Bass Pro Shop in the world! They have everything you can imagine and then some more you didn't expect. There is a museum of sort detailing the history of Bass Pro Shop, its owners, and the evolution of sport fishing. There is also an amazing aquarium in the building very much worth the fee. I really couldn't believe I found my favorite color of rubber worm, I bought all they had. Thanks Bass Pro!

Me and my wife went to Uncle Bucks coffee shop today and the guys behind the counter were completely rude. Did not greet us and when we asked if the beverage contained coffee in them they had a horrible attitude. Not one friendly smile. I’ve had better customer service at McDonald’s.

Amazing outdoor store with nearly everything from boats and archery to camping gear and snapback hats. Lots of displays featuring taxidermy and live animals including turtles! Great place to get coffee and snacks inside as well. The store itself and displays within are free. There's extra pay activities which are advertised as "better". They probably are, but the shop and its displays are GREAT!

Very impressive, lots to see. The only issue I had was that I don't like to be hounded by salespeople to apply for a MC or a vacation in exchange for listening to the report's pitch. They are strategically placed next to the restrooms & elevator/ escalator so you can't avoid them.

I finally visited the company's headquarters. It was very enjoyable. Beyond the standard shopping there is plenty of displays, fish and animal features, resturaunt and snacks, etc. Fun for the entire family.

I only spent 3 hours there and didn't make it past the museum of guns literally the best museum I have ever been to in weapons if you are a collector it's a must see and the guide was much help in telling me all about the history of everything hes is a very wise man good to talk with I literally can spend all day and probably wont be able to see everything if your in Springfield go and check this place out you will enjoy it I guarantee it!!!

Best store I’ve been in. This location is pretty updated and has a million things to offer so as you can imagine their staff is on top of everything. You don’t have to search for an employee when you need something and they are all so professional and knowledgeable about their products. It’s just enjoyable to come to this store! I think the employee’s name was Jacob and he talked hunting with us for 25 min and even gave us some awesome deals on gear. Great clean store and even better staff!!

This place is so amazing aesthetically. So much thought, design, and planning went into making this building what it is. Great and friendly service too. All the people are very friendly. Get anything that you could ever need in the outdoor section of life. The Aquarium is great for a great first date, a day with the wife, and or a day trip for the whole family. Lots of awesome stuff, definitely worth the money. All around it is a great building with a lot to do and see.
