The first time I didn't really like it all the much; the flavors were not to my liking. However I tried the Lunch Wagon again today (after watching a steady stream of coworkers eat there) and it was great. I had the Hot Stromboli Sandwich and a salad, for under $7! I'm gonna have to try this place again :)

I go in often. We especially like the butter garlic chicken; it's delicious! Same with the chops. Their beef jerky is yummy. Lots of choices for all types of meats, cheeses even snacks. Fun employees! Oh, and my Granddaughter likes to ride the free elephant!

WOW!!!!!! Love this place! I would rather drive the 20min to come here vs. the local VonHonsens! Everything that we have ever tried is exceptional, potatoe salad, chicken salad, smoked ham (lunch meat), smoked bacon, beef sticks, exc. My young children also love coming here from the ride on toys outside to the tractors they can ride around the store while I shop to the ride on elephant in the store, I enjoy watching them get to enjoy being kids while I shop along with a free sample of beef stick in hand! Not only is the product one of a kind the staff is very personable! Nothing like a family owned business that takes pride in not just their product but their customers which we do not find much anymore of these days! Thanks for being a one of a kind meat market!!! My family loves it here!!!!!!

I love Osseo Meat Mrkt.s meat and products, my only concern is that they do NOT wear gloves at all. I have seen them stocking shelves and pushing carts etc. Also after handling cash with all the germs on it, you can imagine what you are ingesting and then going right to serving meat and touching it without washing their hands and or wearing disposable gloves. This can lead to cross contamination as well as people getting very sick from eating the meat afterwards. I wish they would wear gloves as well as wash their hands. . This would be considered a big health violation if the health dept. were to get wind of it. I hope I can continue to shop here and feel safe about the food, otherwise I will have to go elswhere I suppose. -A longtime concerned customer.

Osseo Meat Market always has the best quality beef in town. Forget the grocery store and head to where the best top quality meat is butchered perfectly. Prices are very fair when you consider the quality of what you are getting. They also have a nice selection of cheese, breads, side dishes, spices and a huge freezer section. They also stock some seafood items along with awesome pork, and chicken. Outside the meat market Charlies corn stand is now open in July and wow..best sweet corn Ive had from here to Duluth. My wife and I have been coming here for years and have never once been let down. Oh, if you smoke brisket, chuck roasts, ribs, they will trim and cut to your liking, really great service here. Here is a quick pic of some of their goodies we got today and will be going on the bbq tonight.

I've shopped here for meat for a few years because the quality has always been fabulous...so much better than supermarket meat! But this past weekend, I had a tree cutting neighborhood party that I didn't want to cook for because of all the work we had to do. So I ordered their pulled chicken and sliced roast beef au jus, potato salad and chicken almond salad. The crew loved it all. I'm picky about my potato salad and this is the best I've had that wasn't my sisters. The chicken almond salad was to die for! And the meats were nicely seasoned and very tasty. I'd highly recommend if you have a party or need to feed a lot of people, let Osseo Meats do the work for you. You won't regret it!

Love the garlic butter pork chops. Bought smoked dog bone which I asked guy behind the counter if it would splinter. He said no. After I left I read online they do splinter. Not very happy about being told one thing and finding out could kill my dog.

Great meat market if you like fair prices, high quality and unique meats. It reminds me so much of the meat market/locker plants near my parent's farm in central MN. Our kids say the hot dogs are the best in the world. The jerky and pepper sticks are my favorite and my wife likes the brats and polish sausage best. I got my deer processed in under a week too. Just a suggestion - stop at Osseo Meat Market, get some Brats and Hot Dogs, and then go tailgate at a St. Paul Saints game - lots of fun.

Everything here is top quality. Wonderfully marbled steaks, fresh made sausages, jerkey, and beef sticks. Better quality then I have found in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Worth the drive across country just stop in, and snack up. If you have friends in town pick up a couple of steaks and grill for them. No one will be disappointed.

Hunters beware! I have been bringing deer in to Osseo meats for the past 5 to 6 years. All my previous experiences have been great! This year I brought in 2 good size deer, both being bigger than the one I brought in last year. I recieve 20 pounds meat sticks and a little under 30 pds of steaks, chops, and hamburger. I recieve 1 package of backstrap wieghing a quarter of a pound. Last year with one smaller deer I recieved 40lbs of meat. I took this all the way to the owner and he told me I was insulting and would not do anything about this. Beware, Beware, Beware!!!!!

This is the absolute best meat market I have ever been to. Hands down, awesome customer service, great specials and all of the food is spectacular. The people there make you feel welcomed and they have a great lunch special every day. I go there a couple times a week just for the lunch and the beef jerky. If you don't try this place then you should also Google "local physician" and go schedule an appointment to get your head checked. Go try their pepper-jack cheese beef jerky and get ready to be a O.M.M. lifer.

OMG I just called the store for a price on a whole beef tenderloin. A woman answered told me the price and I started to say the price was a bit higher......but I like your meats better and I'll order one. However she hung up on me yelling buy it from somewhere else. I never got the "but I'll buy it from you" out before she hung up on me! I called back to speak with a Manager and to buy a 12 lbs tenderloin but the same woman answered and hung up on me again when she heard my voice. Never again a customer of Osseo Meats and we've spent 20 years as a customer. Merry Christmas huh?

Moved up from Tennessee last year and was introduced to the beef jerky. Absolutely the best hands down. I have sent that jerky to friends and co workers all over the country and they all agree and want more every time I come their way. I also buy my steaks there regularly. Wish I could give more stars. Always top quality at reasonable prices. Sausages, brats, jerky, ribs all made and smoked on the premises. Their precooked, smoked sauced ribs are fabulous. Meat can be cut to order. For the little ones, they have pedal tractors to drive around. The display of collectibles cars will occupy you if you have to wait for service.

This was my first visit thanks to a reccomendation from a friend for the old fashioned wieners (the kind with a snap when you bite into them). This is a great meat market that has that small town feel. Friendly service and plenty of folks behind the counter to keep the many customers moving. HINT: go to the counter and pull a number when you get in, you should have time to shop until your turn. Staff are happy to see you, answer your questions and do what it takes. I loved looking at the decorations as much as the broad selection of meat. Only disappointing moment... with several selections of jerky there was not a "basic" or peppered beef jerky. I got the BBQ beef jerky and am glad I did. Not too sweet and a perfect jerky bite, chew and flavor. I will make the trip from Plymouth again. A great secret place to share.

I love the brats here, they are quite massive with size and flavor. They have a great selection of meats and i bet it would be difficult for them to not have something you need. They make their own dishes like lasagna and hot dish. They have pizzas you can take home and bake. Customer service is top notch and very friendly. For sure one of the best meat markets around. Also try the beef sticks and jerky!

I have been coming for a few years for a prime rib roast and liked the cut. I was in today and noticed the black stereotypical porcelain heads over the door in the front that greets everyone. I had never noticed it before but they jumped out at me today. I felt sick to my stomach. If you didn’t know please know This is highly offensive. It doesn’t matter how good the meat is if you can’t realize and address how offensive this is you have lost a customer. I can’t believe how many people have seen this and are ok. You are complicit if you see this and choose to continue to do business here.
