Tried the Turkey Jerky as its always one of my favorites and it was easily as good as any I've had. The meat is expertly cut, much better than anything you can get at a grocery store. A great selection of different stuff from Steak to Lamb Chops to specially flavored sausages. Also, grab a bag's of Earl's Minnesota made snacks. They carry lots of local sauces so its a great place to grab some gifts for relatives who like to cook.

Mike's has the best cuts around. We recently moved to the area and it is a serious plus! We serve Mike's at all our BBQs and it's always a hit. The chicken is plump, the pork is tender, the steak is juicy. Their homemade buns are a perfect compliment to the hand pressed frozen burger patties and fresh wienies. And yes, it smells amazing in this place. If you are in the area, GO THERE! If you're not, it's worth the trip. They often have great deals on meat packs, as well.

Hi , I'm a South African immigrant and we do this sausage called " boerewors " , kind of a traditional sausage for hundreds of years . Had Mike's make me a batch , 33lbs actually , and it's fan...tastic ... just like back in the old country . Great job well done Mike's I;m coming in for my second batch .

A great place. I've lived in the neighborhood for almost 6 years, and have been going to Mike's the entire time. Everything is terrific; steaks, jerky, ground beef, chicken, pork chops. Great service, and I'd never buy any of the aforementioned at a grocery store again. PS - their Thanksgiving turkeys are fantastic!!

Great meat, good prices too. I wish there was a turn lane off Robert to Mike's as at times it can be difficult to get into it with the new "improved" system.

I've only been here once, and bought the cheapest sirloin there. It was amazing! Very, very tender for that cut of meat. You won't find that in a grocery store, unless maybe Whole Foods, but their prices are insane! This was affordable and delicious, and if their sirloin was that good, I can only imagine what their ribeye is like!

great old school butcher shop. first rate beef jerky. world class porterhouse cut nice and thick. best in- house hot dogs around and the specialty of the house in my opinion is the smoked bacon brats. they also have flat iron steaks. the made in house buns are great too. i'm lucky to live nearby but well worth the drive from anywhere in the metro.

This is a really great butcher shop and I will keep going as long as they stay open. They have a smaller selection but the quality is where it's at. I usually get some jerky, beef sticks, chicken breast, ground beef, and filet mignon. It is all super fresh and great prices. Also, Mike is a class act and will always make sure you leave satisfied.

Another summer dinner party where I served Mike's pulled beef sandwiches with horseradish and their handmade brats. And had raves. This is the easiest thing going. I've worked very hard on unsuccessful meals at my house and Mike's Butcher Shop is always a winner.

One of the few authentic butcher shops left. Amazing cuts of meat with a staff that knows what they are doing. If you're looking for an amazing lunch, their Roast Beef sandwich with barbecue and horseradish is a killer deal for just $5. Also, their stuffed cheeseburgers with bacon are another great choice. I just wish they would start carrying bison, but otherwise, the place for choice meats for a barbecue or just a nice dinner.

Mike's Butcher Shop is a throwback to the good old days of the neighborhood butcher shop - incredible cuts of gorgeous meat, as well as seafood, and "all the fixin's" are on offer there. When you walk in the door, you immediately smell the sweet scent of smoke. I have been going to Mike's for years when I want the perfect steak - their rib eyes and New York strips are top-notch, and Mike's is my source for lamb chops, not to mention skin-on hot dogs and fantastic bratwurst! Mike's is worth a trip - you'll become a customer for life, I guarantee it!

The jerky here is the ABSOLUTE BEST. Every bute bite releases ridiculously good flavor. It's chewy, but not rubbery, moist, never dry. I love it.
