This is the place you want good meat and jerky. One concern that I have is the posted time the store will be open to close is false. On Friday, I was on my way back to Mankato before I head up to northern Minnesota to pick up some jerky from here and then leave town the next early morning. I came to this place at 4:00 pm, basically an hour before they should close, but it was not open since the sign said they were open tI'll 4:00 pm today. Wow really guys? Someone please revise the open-close list on this place so people don't get confused. In the meantime, I'm just gonna call the place to find the REAL time they are open.

Great place to shop with friendly staff! Be sure you know their hours before you stop in, especially on the weekend. I've seen a lot of disappointed folks turn around in their parking lot because they didn't check that Hilltop was open.
