Huge meat selection and lots of really unique products. The snack sticks, fish and steaks looked great. My brother got two ribeye steaks at a reasonable price and they were really high quality, marbled meat. The butcher staff seems very knowledgeable too. Good beer selection too. Some prices are a bit higher than other grocery stores but it's relative to other specialty grocery stores.

This is an excellent specialty market. The fresh meat counter has a fantastic selection of beef, pork, chicken, etc. As well as a nice range of seasoned amd prepared meats. The new salad and prepared food counter is excellent - really neat and tasty selections (Shepard's pie, meatloafs, etc). The rest of the market covers specialty items and prpeared foods for whatever famcies your tastes. Make the trip!

Very good “specialty” market. I personally love their chicken snack sticks and chicken bratwurst. The apple and cherry chicken brats are a family favorite. The service is very friendly and knowledgeable. I always come away from my interactions with a smile, and glad I stopped in. The meats at the butcher counter aren’t labeled as choice or prime, but I have enjoyed every cut that I have bought. They were high quality and flavorful. Beer selection is excellent and they do a good job of having an great assortment of local and seasonal beers.

I drove 30 miles one way and discovered why this place is so great! Family owned, happy employees, great products. From Paramount coffees to handmade pot pies, Michigan products and more. Don't overlook the delectable desserts! I now make this my Saturday destination. I also appreciate they close on Sunday's so employees can have a day off.

This place is a gem in Haslett. They sell local products (like Rustbelt coffee), Michigan products, and then high quality amazing brands that are hard to find elsewhere. If that is enough to get you to try it, their butcher has fresh locally sourced meat that you will taste the difference. Their prices are great. They make their own beef sticks, jerky, Canadian bacon, sausages. This place is amazing. They will let you tried the cured meat and once you do, you will be hooked. They also have local breads from the many bakers in the area; Stone Circle, Stone Hearth, Roma, Great Harvest...Their corn during the summer is always fresh, if you can't get to a farmers market, get to Monticellos.

Excellent mid-sized grocery. It can be considered a specialty grocery. They close fairly early @8pm, on most days. They are closed on Sunday. The big draw is their meat counter. They have smoked and other specialty meats. The deli area is also unique. There is a good selection of unusual items. Lots of new flavorful salads and pasta choices. The hot soup island has 4 to 6 choices. There is also a good bakery item area. They have olde time Bill Knapp and Sanders cakes. Cheese selection is good. The workers are normally friendly and even cheerful. The restrooms are clean. You should check it out.

I shop often at this store. In my opinion it has the best meat selection and quality in the greater Lansing area. I wanted to share an experience I had tonight - we love the canollis the store has. There were none there again and my daughter had her heart set on them. One of the employees went above and beyond and made us 6 fresh. He grabbed all of the ingredients and dropped what he was doing to help us ! It was so awesome and I wanted to just say thank you- !! ☆☆☆☆☆!

Very very unprofessional. I made the call that one of their employees that pulled into their business was driving erratically doing 60mph plus in and out of traffic in the SCHOOL ZONE on haslett rd and their response was they want nothing to do with it do what we please they have no control how their employees act. Just a damn shame. How does someone act so careless and say nothing to the employee. That’s just insane and it shows the lack of care within the community. Someone could’ve been injured or killed. People were crossing the road and slamming on brakes. Just lost out business!

What a great specialty market! They have a extensive deli, with almost everything made on site. They have a beautiful bakery case. They have a great selection of local meats, and they make sausage and smoke on site. Everything is super fresh. The staff is all super friendly and super helpful. I plan to order a locally grown fresh turkey for Thanksgiving. I'm so glad a made the trip to check out this great store.

Purchased a $100 prime rib. Called it in. They had no record of it. Cut one for us. Asked for bone IN. It wasn't bone in. The bag leaked blood all over the floor, my long wool coat, purse, shoes, etc. I asked for assistance and the butcher said he'd have someone clean it up. No mention of me or my clothing. Cashier noticed it and said she'd tell the meat dept to bag them differently so this didn't happen to someone else. Nothing about me or my clothes. Also tried their breakfast sausage to compare to my favorite meat mkt. $1 more per pound and gray - also very fatty. Not a lot of taste. E-mailed the store and told them of my situation with my good clothes and their inadequate wrapping. NO response at all after 6 weeks. I'll spend my money where the meat is far better and they value customers.

First time at the store been wanting to go for a while. Did fine it was a little on the high-end pricing wise but it is more of a specialty store. Found some good deals at the deli lunch meat salami and they have a Cherrywood ham. Definitely going to try those. They carry Roma bread and Harvest Bread. They have a pretty extensive wine department. The staff was very friendly also
