Wandering into the Campau Corner Meat Market & Growler Station definitely is a throwback experience. If you’re looking for an authentic yet modern butcher shop this is your place! Not only do they have locally sourced steaks, kielnasa, breakfast sausage, and snacks, they also have 25 craft and vintage (Stroh’s, PBR) beers on tap (as well as root beer for the kiddos) so you can have a pint while you shop or fill up your growler to go. Perfect place during the spring time to grab a cold one and sit outside.

This place is fantastic. Sample beer and buy awesome meat products. My favorite is the meat sticks but you can get almost anything. Keep up the good meat and you will always have my business.

Check out the Meat Market Wednesday dinners- fresh smoked whole chicken and BBQ ribs alternating every Wed. Sign up in advance for after 4pm pick up. Hands down, best I've even eaten!

Seen this place for a while, salmon dip was on point and destroyed similar smoked salmon dip I paid 4 times as much for at a speciality market in grand Rapids, brats look amazing and are very well priced, picked up two rib eye steaks as well. For slightly above market but look to be promising, I will revisit this review later, but as of now I am very excited this place didn't disappoint. Staff was quick and courteous, beer selection seems ample, will definitely be trying some later, I was in a rush today.

I decided to have 40lbs of venison smoked by Campau Corner. 7 weeks to get my meat back was frustrating as it typically takes 1-2 weeks at other meat markets i have used. I though based on pricing that my order of 20 lbs of sticks and 20 lbs of brats would be in casings and packaged. i was surprised when i received 20lbs of sticks back in a giant plastic bag twisty tied. I then had to repackage my own sticks from that bag. After all that I had an additional 20 lbs of brats that i expected to be in casings but to my surprise again some were placed in casings and some were bags of mixed ground meat in bags. In the end for the price I paid I am very disappointed in the quality of service with my venison, time it took to complete, and the packaging I received both the brats in and sticks in. I do have to admit that the flavoring was good, but the negative experience far outweighed the flavor of the meat. My order looks like it was slapped together without a care of doing the right thing. I will not be returning and have also made sure my friends and family be cautious of using Campau Corner.
