Best old fashioned butcher shop/Greek market around. So many wonderful products not available in grocery stores. Huge meat selection, fresh, frozen, store marinated, even imported items. The butcher was friendly and very helpful, answering all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. I bought a few things, marinated lambchops for 5.99 a lb and Greek marinated boneless pork roast 2.99/lb! They also sell wine and prepared meals.

Has been there as far back as I can remember and I'm almost 39 now. That says a lot right there for a small mom and pop store to survive now a days. It is small but the butcher are friendly and fast. Meat quality is Always on point. I get my Christmas Prime Rib here every year.

We are frequent visitors of New England Meat Market. We love their steak tips, marinated meats, prepared foods, feta cheese, and kalamata olives! Their staff is always so friendly and helpful! Much better quality meats and deli than going to your regular grocery store and prices are very reasonable. I recommend to all my family and friends!

Today was the first time Ive been to New England Meat Market in years & they did not disappointed!They were my butcher shop for decades until I moved 10 years ago! I was with a friend who stopped in for some ground sirloin to make meatballs for supper & I decided to get some meats too. I got a lb of their ground sirlon, a few pounds of all natural boneless skinless chicken breast, a lb of deli deli turkey & bread for under $15! The store is clean, staff is friendly & meats are high quality - the best!

I used to love this market, but I don't anymore. I liked going in for the prepared meals, especially in the summer when it was too hot to cook. I liked their chili too. But I went in a few times and what I bought (chili, coleslaw) had gone bad, and they don't have the prepared meals anymore. I like the people who work there but what is the point of going in if they don't have what they advertise? I have brought this to their attention, so this is not a review that comes out of left field.

Did I go to the same place that the other reviewers did? I can't believe that 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ has been given for this market. Let me begin by saying that many years ago, while I attended the Greek church across the street, this market was superb. Especially at Easter, when the best lamb (whole ones for the backyard spit) was offered, along with delicious tsoureki, tarama salata, dolmathis, feta salad, locanico, and koulourakia. Sadly, I believe those days are gone. When I visited last week, to purchase delicious Greek appetizers and meat, I was so very disappointed. First of all, when the doors opened, I was greeted with the terrible smell that is present throughout the story. It smelled like rancid food and mold. The deli was embarrassing, with no food resembling what I used to buy. The dolmathis were the worst I have ever tasted, and I would be afraid to purchase any of their pasta offerings. I'm sorry to say, but this market that I used to love so much is positively filthy. I would be ashamed to recommend it to anyone searching for delicious, ethnic food. Such a shame; they need to close it down. If you want some lovely Greek food, tasteful cookies and desserts, delicious salads and lamb, head on over to Brothers Kouzina. Spotless restaurant with lovely owners.

Beware. The big guy with the apron will rip you off. Told me the machine was down so he had to label my flank steak with "marinated flank steak"for a few dollars extra a pound. Didn't notice until i got home. When called out on the mistake made he told me I got beat and there is nothing he would do to make it better... Bad people run this, surprised they are still in business

This is the best kept secret on the North Shore! Nothing remotely close compares to this place! I recently moved to Woburn and I've looked all over, far and wide for quality meats with nothing even close to the Price or Quality level. This is the GEM !!! You can order Super Savers and get a variety of meats (they have it all) They have BBQ Samplers or Huge Orders ( The more you buy the more you save ) I get large ordgers and split them with my mom. The meats are fresh and you can taste it. They also have Deli Meats, fruits, veggies, beer & wine all under one roof. I signed up for VIP Customer and some weeks I get extra savings to my phone. MUST SHOP HERE!!!

I had a great shopping experience at New England Meat Mkt. The store is clean, it doesn't smell. The redesign makes it easy to find all the specialty items. The best part is the very helpful butchers that are happy to share their expertise to ensure a good meal.

This is an old style market. By that I mean the service. They do have very high quality products and some you don't see in your average supermarket. We always get our party wings here. The meats are fantastic. It's the personal service though that makes this place special. It reminds me of my childhood when all local merchants seemed to be more in tune with the neighborhood they served and lived in. Whether your young or past your "sell by date" (like me) you'll appreciate the way you are treated here.

I come here for grape leaves as you are the only place that carries them. Some serious cleaning needs to take place in this store as it is an establishment selling food. The rank decaying meat smell inside the store every time I visit is offencive. I love that there is an option to buy Greek items in the area but I feel the employees could do a little cleaning up as opposed to just sitting at their posts.

Purchased a bag of pub style steak tips for guests. The bag was loaded with stew beef and very few tips. Had a funky smell when cooking as well. Had to throw out. Wouldn’t go back again.
